Having spent 6 years in Architecture school, I have engaged in multiple research and design projects where I developed a number of multidisciplinary skills some of which are AutoCAD, Rhino, vectorworks, and Adobe (Illustrator - Photoshop - Indesign). Within the first few lessons of introduction to the software, you'll be able to navigate through its many tools , and as time goes on you'll be able to create all kinds of graphics and design projects. Whether you're interested in drawing techniques or logo design or web design, I can structure my lessons so you can learn what you want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of design skills.
I am an architecture grad Student from Northeastern who's looking to be of some benefit academically to others. Being originally from Morocco, I grew up speaking French, Arabic, English and I am currently learning Japanese and German. I have been tutoring since high school and still wish to continue since i really enjoy working with students with diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds. So, In the purpose of sharing my passion for creative design softwares and languages, boost your confidence, as well as build skills in you that will be utilized well beyond tutoring sessions, i have developed many tricks in order to explain complex concepts using easy-to-understand terms and ideas.
I have been using Illustrator for over 20 years and teaching it at the college level for eight years. I have used it and taught it for quite the range of design media. From Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, and Game Art to Image Manipulation, Concept Art and Abstract Deconstruction.
I have worked for many Colleges and Kids Sports organizations. I have been background checked many times. I also teach kids of many ages at The Arbor Learning Center home schooling group.
Mr. M. is a CG artist. Like many, his love for art started in grade school and evolved in high school. While running his own T-Shirt Design company, "Extreme Limitations", he was able to quickly see the power of design, layout, color, and typography.
With over twenty years of experience in Graphic Design, Illustration, Prototype Design, Game Art, and Motion Graphics, Mr. M. now spends his time teaching students in many different graphic disciplines. He has been at Norco College since 2006 teaching 3D Modeling, Animation, Beginning and Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator, Digital Sculpting and Character Design. He has also taught 3D Modeling, Anim
ation, Drawing, Motion Graphics, and Video Editing at Coastline Community College, and Cypress College, Santa Ana and is now teaching 3D Modeling at Mt. SAC.
In his free time, Mr. M. freelances for companies helping production schedules that are running behind. In 2009, Gilbert won an Emmy.
i learn alot from where i need to improve on. taught me its alway best to practice everyday so i can become better and improve and to not just trace or copy go by what i see. he is a good teacher and i will come back

This experience really helped me grasp important concepts that I otherwise would have never known. I feel like I learned A LOT in only 3 classes and I can't wait to learn more. Gil was very productive; he based the lessons on what I use Photoshop for and actually allowed us to work on projects that I had to do for work, instead of just teaching what he wanted to teach. He was SUPER patient and never made me feel bad for stopping to take notes. I would definitely recommend him to anyone trying to learn a computer program he is knowledgeable in. This is totally irrelevant, but he has cool hair too! Thanks Gilbert!
I have been using Adobe Illustrator both academically and professionally for about 5 years now. I use it primarily to create various graphics for numerous projects, architectural diagrams for academic and professional work, as well as use to to create overlays for images. I currently use CS5.5 at home and CS6 at work. I have reference images available. I believe the entire Adobe Suite works best when intertwined with both Illustrator and InDesign as the programs are very similar to one another.
I'm a recent graduate of the Boston Architectural College, and employed by a large architectural firm in Boston. I am currently teaching a Rhino 3-D course at the BAC I tutor in all aspects of architecture including portfolio design, writing, software tutoring, design critiquing, and overall academic guidance. For software, I specialize in the Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros, and V-Ray. I've tutored students of all differing ages and skill sets, ranging from novice to advanced user. Further, I have numerous references and reviews about my services that I would be happy to pass along, as well as past design work that I have done both academically and professionally. Lastly, I have numerous resources students can use after tutoring sessions are complete such as reference manuals, tutorials, and websites to visit for additional learn
I have been working with AI for over 10 years creating vector art. Students can expect how to draw and use coloring techniques to create unique pieces of art.

Adobe Illustrator is a creative and technical tool great for new illustrations and editing vector artwork, preparing scalable artwork, logos, fonts and so many more creative uses. Adobe Illustrator has been a favorite tool of mine for 20 years, and my experience with vector tools goes back nearly 30 years! I enjoy working with people and patiently helping you to understand how Illustrator and other adobe Creative Suite tools can work specifically for you. Illustrator is a more advanced and technical tool. It is very powerful, but can be learned by anyone to help make creative tasks easier and more professional.
I love people! I enjoy teaching and training, listening and learning, meeting new people and discovering new things. As a Creative Director south of Nashville, I make time to work with children and adults, teaching drawing, photography, Adobe Creative Suite and other creative computer skills. I also coach soccer in Nolensville, TN. My own art reflects a passion for people, as I am primarily a portrait artist in photography as well as with pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor. I started with teaching art classes in High school, then as part of wilderness trips in the white mountains, teaching creative survival skills. I work often with youth athletics and skills training, with the children in my church, and all ages as a mentor, tutor, and coach outside of regular business hours... Lately I have been helping photographers and models build
their brand identity with pictures. - - What are your creative needs?

Daniel was outstanding and very patient. I knew a little about drawing and he took me to the next level. My art is very lifelike and realistic thanks to Daniel.

Daniel is great, he is extremely knowledgeable. He explains things in detail so that you have a thorough understanding of how Indesign works and interfaces with other programs. He is happy to answer any and all questions and moves at a good pace.
Adobe Illustrator is a very useful vector based program. Some of the things you may do in it are: illustrations, logos, flyers and packaging. You'll need to have the program on your computer. I have used it as a professional for over 20 years years.
I look forward to tutoring you. I teach Graphic Design, Adobe Creative Suite, Drawing, PowerPoint and more.
I graduated from the Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, CA. and later took some additional classes at UCLA. I taught graphic design and illustration at Woodbury University. I've worked for advertising agencies and large corporations.
I now have my own business and also enjoy teaching young students through adults.
Businesses and academic institutions around the world use PowerPoint. It is important at all levels to be an effective communicator and presenter.
I will use my academic knowledge joined with my new world digital technology skills, to make you able to express yourself.
I had a great time with Katherine learning different drawing techniques. She was very knowledgeable and was able to adapt each lesson to what I needed to know that week. I really enjoyed our lessons last semester. :)

Katherine is great!

WOW! I'm learning a lot and can't wait until the next lesson.
Students can expect a discussion of what their major objectives and goals are, and then the curriculum I give to them will focus on meeting those goals and objectives.
Beginning students can expect a walk through of Illustrator, including the UI, major tools, and using artboards. Intermediate and advanced students can expect a review of major composition and layout methods, as well as handouts and take-aways that they can study on their own time.
I'm a firm believer of "showing", so I will also present my own professional work and explaining what methods and techniques I used. And then asking students how each method and technique adds to or takes away from the overall composition.
Be prepared to also laugh! Illustrator and humor walk hand-in-hand!
I am a professor with seventeen years worth of experience in teaching various subjects for a multitude of students. I've taught subjects such as creative writing, commercial law, ancient civilization, ancient and transitional Latin and Greek, as well as Graphic Design, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Federal and Commercial Building Compliance and Law, et cetera. To put it bluntly, there's very little I cannot teach.
I've taught GED classes and courses for the State of Michigan and the Northeast Penitentiary system for seven years as well, which has been some of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had.
I believe that everyone can learn. All it takes is that student to professor connection and knowing what type of learner the student is. I don't believe in a "one shoe fits all" type of teaching style.
My students are unique, with different ways of looking at problems and different ways of coming to their own conclusions and solutions.
Good teaching is a mixture of art and science—the ability to grab and keep students' attention and convey complex information, Mr. K does just that!! I have taken about 4 or 5 classes with him and I must say he has taught me everything I need now in my career. Patient and vastly knowledge. Definitely would take another class with him!

Mr. K taught was amazing. He taught the GED in Michigan a few years ago. The moment I walked into his classroom, it was just one and one. He didn't treat me like all the other teachers. He actually cared and it showed. But man, is he hard! I didn't think I would get homework after the first class, but I was seriously wrong. But over the next two months, he grilled me and grilled me until I wanted to scream. But when I took the GED and was scored, I aced it! Just to warn yall though, he's not an easy teacher. And he doesn't put up with excuses. But when he gives you his attention, its all of it.
He even went waaaay beyond the call of duty and helped me get into college at Lansing Community College. He walked me through the application, even drove and met me at LCC, and sat with me when we talked to the reps. He even helped me look for scholarships and gave me advise on financial aid! This guy is a saint!
