I teach all kinds of acting, and have for over 40 years, but I specialize in stage acting, on-camera acting, acting for the face, voice acting, comedic acting, physical acting, improv, script analysis, monologues, audition prep, audition videos and voice over auditions. In Theatre Acting, we'll explore acting for the stage, and how best to use the four tools, Voice, Face, Body, and Mind, for performance in front of a live audience. We'll study gesture, vocal expressiveness, movement, face acting, and physical acting for the stage. We'll study representational theatre and presentational theatre, how they differ, and how to perform in each.

Theater Acting is acting lessons, yet focusing on upcoming shows and events. All that students learn in the acting classes will be worked on. Yet theater acting will be understanding the types of Theater Acting available. We will look at Music Theater, Comedy and Movies. These areas of my expertise will help students develop the ability to collaborate with other actors and musicians, yet develop confidence to explore more factors of Theater Acting.
