Film Acting Lessons in Discovery Bay. Amazing Teachers.

I offer Acting training with three different types of focuses:

-Acting Lessons: If you are interested in the craft of acting and want to become a better artist I create a weekly/monthly lesson plan which will serve your unique needs. Lessons will be based around your experience level, your interests, and your end goal as a performer.

-Audition Coaching: Monologue/Scene/Side coaching for anything from a Community Theater audition to a callback for Chicago Fire. We will attack your audition material from analytically, psychophysically, and psychologically.

-Acting Industry Coaching: What does an agent do? How do I get noticed by a Casting Director? How can I get to perform in a Motion Picture? What type am I?
The focus of my Acting Industry Coaching is to expose the actors to all the industry tools and info that can make them successful. Explaining Unions, how a headshot can get you through the door, and how to figure out type are what I focus on in these lessons.

Gain confidence as you refine your acting presence for film. Learn to analyze your audience, find your voice and project, develop your character, memorize and retain lines, understand beats and rhythm, incorporate body movement, and more.

Working with Actors for for film is my specialty. I work with actors on an ongoing basis who are auditioning, are in preproduction or production, to make sure they are prepared and doing their best work. If you’ve never done a film, we will work to make sure you achieve the ability to understand what is needed to work as an actor in this medium. We work on auditions and self tapes and how to do them!! The tools, knowledge and technique, however, is the same no matter what medium one wishes to act for. I coach all levels of actors. I want you to explore what it's like to experience the unbelievable amount of satisfaction you can have by allowing yourself to study acting. I teach from a method base and will work on monologues and audition materials, collaborating with you on what it is you need to understand how we go about doing this thing called acting.
