I was born and raised in France, spent a few years in Montreal then moved here in San Francisco for studies, I am a cellist.
I studied literature for several years and taught a lot in my student years. Besides teaching you the grammar and vocabulary, I will give you tips to get a better accent and will have conversation as much as we can. Learning by speaking with and listening to a french person speak is so much faster !
Lessons can be online if you prefer.
Looking forward to meet you,
I started playing cello at the age of 6 in Lyon, France. When I finished the conservatory, at 19, I left for Montreal to study at the Schulich school of music, Mcgill University. I got my Bachelor and Master degree there, with a full scholarship and "outstanding achievement in Cello Performance ".

Over the past 10 years, I've worked as a professional touring musician (singer, guitarist, pianist) for the rock band, Inside Switch. I studied piano at the Dallas, Texas School of Music. I also attended the James Madison University music program. I have played piano for 20 years and guitar for 15.
- THE METRONOME IS SO IMPORTANT
- The voice guides the guitar if you’re more of a singer
- Repetition is key
- Practice songs that aren’t in your style to ease your way into guitar
- The power resides in strumming rhythmically
- Focus is more difficult that it seems when combining singing and guitar
- Guitar is an art in itself and itself you shouldn’t master guitar, you should be it’s friend.
- Open mics and video content are the key to more success as they expose you to criticism (good or bad)
Again, the guitar is your companion.
For any aspiring musician or any musician that needs guidance and improvement on the guitar, Peter is a great teacher.

B.A. Degree - Education with Endorsement for Spanish 7-12 from Grace College
I am a licensed Spanish teacher for grades 7-12. I learned Spanish, my second language, by living with a Spanish family in Valencia, Spain, and by studying at the University of Valencia for two semesters. I am in my 9th year of teaching Junior High/High School Spanish, and I also have been tutoring Spanish one-on-one as well as group lessons for 7 years.
Thanks to the internet, I invite the world into our lessons! I use many online resources to support all facets of the learning process, i.e., reading, listening, writing, speaking (the highest rung for the skill ladder). This approach enables my students to practice/grow between lessons, AND it exposes them to the many different sounds of Spanish (depending on which of the 21 Spanish-speaking countries the speaker is from). When I am supporting Spanish students, these websites are particularly helpful with more difficult grammar tasks. When the student I am tutoring uses such websites during our lessons, s/he is provided with ...

I have always enjoyed reading, editing, and interpreting the English language. AP English Literature was one of my favorite courses in high school and I wish to share this love with my students. I would edit and suggest aspects that could improve compositions and share my secrets to success in writing.

At times, learning Spanish can feel overwhelming, with so many new words to take in after every lesson and new Spanish vocabulary appearing in every text or video you encounter.
