I have been a professional dancer for the last 10 years, and have been teaching dance since 2003. I have taught at prestigious schools around the US, and I currently teach at The School at Steps. You can expect to learn the correct technique and placement, as well as all of the styling, steps, and flashy moves you can think of! I studied ballroom dance at Brigham Young University which has the biggest ballroom program in the United States.

About Traci

Traci splits time between San Francisco and NYC, and currently dances with The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, New Chamber Ballet, and Cello Pointe. Recent projects have included guesting with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens; dancing Merce Cunningham's Inventions, Locale, and Fractions; and in Masks of a Woman

Traci is the best! She is so kind and yet provides such a great workout. I'm a total beginner in dance but she makes me feel comfortable and each week my body is getting more tone and stronger. I really do enjoy her classes and I highly recommend her as an instructor.

Traci is a fantastic teacher because she is a fantastic dancer. She knows how to guide you whether you are overcoming an injury or trying to take your dancing to the next level. Traci takes ballet seriously but with lots of humor and grace!

Ms. Danielle is a wonderful / excellent instructor. I booked 10 sessions with Ms. Danielle for vocal training and it was worth every dollar. I am singing this week at a big event, and because of Ms. Danielle vocal training, I am prepared to sing three back to back songs with the strongest voice ever!!!! Ms. Danielle doesn't know it yet, but I do plan to make her my life vocal coach.

The rating says it all. Best. Instructor. Ever. Danielle is amazing. She's so patient and kind and loving. Half the reason I take lessons from her is because she makes me feel so good about myself. She's so much more than a singing teacher. She's a creative guide. She will help you move beyond self doubt and explore your creativity. And of course, my rhythm and pitch are improving rapidly. Can't recommend her enough!

I enjoy my first lesson with Ms. Danielle. She is a great singing coach. I am looking forward to learning great singing skills from this instructor.

Cat LaCohie, aka Vixen De Ville is an amazing instructor. I went from terrified, broken-hearted mess of a mid-life crisis to Scandal Navia, burlesque performer in a few months! Cat's snarky sense of humor adds to the fun you are certain to have in her class. Her warm encouragement, and total body positivity will have you feeling like a Queen from the first class. I still go to her every time I need to hone a new act. She's amazing not only at instruction, encouragement and choreography, she excels at solving problems, working out costume issues, knowing where to get or make literally anything and fine-tuning all your bits - both sensual and comedic. Whether you've never set foot onstage, or are a seasoned pro, you can benefit immensely from working with Cat. She is fantastic!
Debra
So much fun! Cat is so good and helping you find your inter burlesque persona. Lots of laughs with an amazing result. She does it all....you learn everything you need to know about burlesque...how to create an Act, make a Costume, and even perform! I highly recommend signing up for a life changing experience!
Velvet
Amazing teacher!

Doing course on-line I have lot of options to speak with Cat, participate in group calls and so one.
Totally worth it!

As an actress of 19 years, I love teaching my students the art of telling a story. I started my training in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts program, following on to Interlochen Arts Academy and eventually private training in Los Angeles. I have credits in regional theater, television (Netflix's Dear White People, The CW's Worst Birthday Ever, TruTV's Adam Ruins Everything), countless national commercials, and more. Together, we will explore several different methods including Meisner, Stanislavsky, Boleslavsky, imagining, and more, to create your own unique method. I can't wait to start this journey with you. In your first few lessons, we'll assess your goals, learn how to break down a script, and choose an acting method to start with. As we go on, we will build a repetoire of monologues and scenes for you to use, develop career trajectory targets, and develop your own personal approach to the art of storytelling. I can't wait to start this journey with you!

Ellysa is extremely knowledgeable and practical - her lesson with me was amazing. As a first lesson, we went through my existing equipment and goals for writing/producing my own work, and she gave me an online review of what we discussed next steps were for me. I’m so thankful for her clear and focused guidance!

"I am compelled to write a raving review about Haley Shea. I am 55 years old and started working with her one-year ago to nail down punctuation and grammar in order to write a blog about nutrition and resistance exercise. Haley is patient and has a pleasant demeanor that strongly motivated me to want to learn the material. Currently, I look forward to each and every lesson.

Around December of last year, I discovered that my heart was not into blog writing. I sent Haley an email and explained my feelings and that I was actually passionate about screenwriting. She wrote back and I discovered this was right (or write) up her alley. Truth be told, as a nine year-old I used to write and direct 8 mm movies with my neighborhood friends as actors and dreamed one day of becoming a writer, producer and director. But like all other dreams this one was derailed.

Haley had me write a couple scene samples. She sent them back to me and was quite pleased with my neophyte attempt. I told her about a sci-fi television project that I wast interested in and after many months of her encouragement and my persistence I finished the first draft.

After some revisions, I watched her perform a table read by Skype utilizing the skills of her improvisation students. I loved watching their reaction as they each read their part. It is very gratifying watching some one become the character you created. It was intended to be funny and campy. There were times the actors seemed to have trouble containing their laughter. Overall their reaction was positive.

At this juncture, Haley is helping me with query letters and obtaining input from other professionals in her inner circle. She is also seeking input from other writers.

The most important thing is I enjoy screenwriting no matter what happens. Haley has helped me love what I'm doing and it is not chore but sweet ride.

I'm greatful for her guidance,
Paul Skinner"

4 Drama Techniques to Always Remember

Stars like Meryl Streep and Al Pacino make it look easy, but if you want to become a professional actor, don't expect to rely on talent alone. Even if you're a natural performer who can cry on command and memorize lines, you'll need to learn the following fundamental drama techniques to really master the art of acting. 1. Vocal Dynamics Your lines are just words until you deliver them, but unless your voice is well-trained, they'll still fall flat or sound forced. In order to accurately port …
