Erik made an excellent first impression with our beginner level 9-year-old son. Erik’s knowledge and experience, mixed with his teaching style, seem to be a good fit for him.

She is amazing as a teacher and a singer. I was looking for formal training to advance in my singing and understand what I am doing wrong. And Mia have helped me so much in just 3 classes. As a singer I felt stuck and wanted to advance my skills and I was very doubtful of teachers but I can say with confidence Mia is the perfect teacher for me. She makes it so comfortable for me to explore my voice and range. So far everything she has taught me has helped me realize my mistakes that were holding me back from singing at my best. She is also very accommodating in terms of class schedule. I always look forward to my class with her.

Whether you're completely brand new or have had more experience flexing your acting muscles, I'd love to help you take your next steps as a young artist. I began performing in musicals at the age of five for an audience of 2,000 people! It certainly took a lot of work to get over my nerves and I'd like to help you do the same. If you're just starting out, we may play some theatre games and practice on some simple texts until you're confident enough to take on some tougher material. If you're more advanced, we will likely dig into some new characters and work on developing your technique and building your repertoire. First and foremost, I want to meet you wherever where you are on your personal journey with acting and help you work toward your goals, however general or specific they may be at this time. Let me know if you have any questions!

About Carissa

Hi! I'm Carissa, a working actor and playwright, and would love to work with you on your craft! I grew up heavily immersed in the arts from a young age. I'm really impressed!!! Carissa met all my expectations and even more. For a very short period of time, she has taught me how to improve my intonation by using positive phrases and believing in them. It really helps, I feel like I got her energy and positiveness. Thanks Carissa! Look forward to the next lesson!
