I have taught piano off and on since I was a teenager and consecutively for the past five years. I enjoy children ages 5 and up, beginners and intermediates, and beginning adults. I choose the curriculum according to the student's age, ability, learning style and choice. My primary goal is for the students to have a positive experience with piano and to look forward to coming each week so that they will want to continue piano or another instrument in the future. I have a lot of incentives for the students and experience much success in this area. I charge very low fees as some clients are unsure of their ability to learn at first. I am very flexible, patient and non-judgmental, and I love what I do.

I live on the west side of the valley and teach in my home. It is a warm, open, family-oriented environment and I welcome siblings to come and play with toys or read while the other is in the lesson. We have a recital at the end of the school year, held in my home.

Judy had my son up and playing in no time. She was great about setting a pace that will keep him challenged and confident simultaneously. He loves his lessons and looks forward to learning more. My youngest, after observing a class, has decided he would like to play too!

Talented teachers are rare. Like a great coach i sports... the coach doesn’t need to be the top athlete in his field to know how to teach each team member to hone their best abilities, he just has to know and see how to teach you how to get there. Being an outstanding teacher is a great talent all in itself... and that is Jesse. He has that quality and ability to lead, focus and take you where you want to go.
Romy R.
Jesse has given directions on how to successfully become a better musician. His approach and explanation on musical theories was much more understandable than what I was previously reading. Overall, I found the lessons to be very usefull.

Sylvia is very good at taking the time to explain the reasons behind the why of doing certain things. Being an adult with no musical background what so ever she has really taken the time to teach me some basic fundamentals that are helping me build the solid foundation that I so very much want and need. Beyond the time we spend with one-on-one instructions she challenges me with exercises to practice on between our meetings. I explained to Sylvia what I was looking for and she has centered the training and instructions around that to ensure that my goals are being met. She is a pleasure to work with and learn from.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and continuing an emphasis on early childhood development. I started with piano 20 years ago (it’s shocking to see how time flies). Along with my students, I am still learning. It’s a non-stop learning however it is such a remarkable experience. I make sure the student gets the learning they deserve as well as meet their music goals. I do provide the necessary materials to get the student started and keep track of their musical progression. Let’s keep in touch!

"I didn’t think I’d learn this much online! I really like Grace’s teaching style. She’s really organized. I love that she sends tailored videos, shares notes on what we worked on every week. The piano professor I took in high school would never take that time/ would be too old tech-wise to try that, not to be rude. She’s very humble and giving. Sometimes she gives me extra lesson time if no one is after me! Best teacher ever."
