Benk is very flexible, affordable and our son took to him very well. He even records what he has learned each week so we both can keep track of his progress. He is much more affordable then other drum teachers or studio's in the area, and even will come to your home.
If you are looking for a GREAT Teacher you should take some time to talk to Benk.

Beginning to Intermediate Drum lessons and beats that are actually used in today's and yesteryear's "hit songs".
It's no secret, drums is the backbone or "foundation" to any hit song.
I break down drumming to its most basic rudiments so that you will grow by leaps and bounds instead of just crawling along.
You have to walk before you can run so getting it right initially is very important to moving forward and getting you playing your favorite songs quickly and accurately..

Hey drummers!
Learn to groove to the music you love!
My name is Dani Danor. I am a professional drummer and teacher. Drums and music have always been my biggest passion.
My number one goal in teaching is to get my students as excited as I am about this incredible instrument. And why shouldn't they? This is one of the few (if not the only) instruments that use all four limbs simultaneously. How crazy is that? Imagine how many rhythms, sounds and melodies can be created? Endless!
Drums are the heart of the music all around the world! Whether it's rock 'n roll, funk, jazz, hip-hop, salsa, samba, or electronic music, the drums are what make everything feel so good!
If you too would like to begin (or continue) exploring this amazing world of rhythm and sound, you are welcome to contact me to schedule a lesson. I teach at my studio in Crown Heights as well as at the students' homes.
All ages and levels are welcome! Feel free to contact me for more information.
All the best,
Dani

Drums and percussion are the foundation of most bands and ensembles, so the skills you possess can benefit the whole group. Keeping the rhythm and adding a unique element is the goal for drummers. So how do you do it? What habits do you need to add to your practice time? Most importantly, what drum techniques will help you get there? Here are six techniques that can …

It's well-known that learning a musical instrument can enhance creativity, coordination, and overall happiness. The drums are a popular choice for their rhythmic sound and the tempo they give to group music. But while it might be nice to be able to play like Keith Moon from "The Who" right away, you're going to need to practice first in order to learn how to play the drums that well! If you're just beginning, one of the best ways to establish a foundation is to learn songs that are good for …

If you or your child has suddenly shown an interest in the drums, one of your first questions is likely “How much does a drum set cost?” That answer depends on a few different factors, which we'll discuss in this article. Professional instruction is the quickest and most efficient way to learn to play the drums, however, a single lesson a week for many weeks can only get a new drummer so far. To truly understand and embrace the drums, a new musician will need to commit to practicing in betw …
