About Daniel

I'm a graduate of UCLA School of Engineering with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. I have a passion for explaining how the physical world works through math and physics along with 9 years of tutoring experience in those subjects, test prep, and mentorship programs. The teaching strategy I believe in emphasizes subject fundamentals, a powerful and necessary tool for higher problem solving. This strategy has proven very effective regardless of the student's educational background or mental ability. Besides being knowledgeable, I am motivating, caring, and patient in guiding your student to academic success!

Executive Functioning is a separate realm that tutoring can assist in. It deals with cognitive processes including organization, time management, and study skills. Much of the difficulty students face in academic subje
cts can be attributed to the lack of executive functioning. They either cannot keep up with the pace and workload that advanced courses demand or haven't figured out the best way to study for themselves. I am able to assess a student's shortcomings and formulate a plan for higher achievement.

Math:
• Elementary • Pre-Algebra • Algebra 1 & 2 • Geometry • Pre-Calculus
• Trigonometry • AP Calculus • Applied/Business Calculus • Differential Equations

Physics:
• AP Physics 1 & 2 • College Physics

Test Prep:
• SAT I & II • ACT • ISEE • SSAT • HSPT • GRE • and more

Computers:
• MS Word • Excel • PowerPoint • Adobe Acrobat • General Windows/MAC

Mentorship:
• Grade Monitoring • Teacher Collaboration

Executive Functioning:
• Organization • Time Management • Study Skills

• Completely turned around achievement and self-confidence of mentored students
• Track record of student improvement particularly in math and physics

Daniel is an interactive tutor who is very helpful with any calculus problems you have. He helped me study for my math test by going through problems step by step with me, which allowed me to understand the concepts at hand. He made sure that I actually understood the process by asking me questions, so it wasn’t only memorization but actual grasping of the way to solve problems. I definitely recommend Daniel to anyone who would like help with their calculus!

SPECIAL RATES FOR ONLINE STUDENTS! ASK ME!

Hi there!

My name is Kimberley, and I'm a British singer/songwriter, and I love teaching young people about this amazing industry! I offer songwriting, singing and piano lessons, as well as writing and composition. My first rule is that there isn't any! Each student is unique and different, and my goal is to teach in a way that's fun and interesting and keeps people engaged.

I teach all ages, young and old, novice to experienced, and take great joy in meeting new people and getting to know them and helping them learn.

Coaching can take place at your home or we can sit outside in my apartment by the pool, we can even go to a park and sit in the sunshine! I'm really flexible and want this to work for you at your own pace to help you reach your own goals.

I received one of the hig
hest marks ever in the country for Grade 8 piano when I was 14 years old and I haven't looked back! I've performed all over the world as a singer, and have always incorporated my piano as much as I can. I have had a joint number one in the UK, as well as other singles in the charts and have done arena tours throughout the UK and Europe. I have masses of performance experience and a lot of industry contacts as well.

Get in touch and we'll go from there! I'm excited to meet you and chat about what you want to achieve.

I've only had two sessions and I already have a better sense of control over my voice and all the anatomy associated with singing. Rebecca has a non judgemental demeanor which helps students, especially beginners such as myself to feel more comfortable and relaxed. She is knowledgeable and I was impressed with the way she assessed my range, and analyzed my voice in the initial session then set realistic goals to improve my control and the quality of my voice.

About Bill
Hi again. I'm Bill and even though i grew up in Central NJ, I have lived and traveled and over the US. I earned a Master's from Seton Hall in English Education and studied English Literature and European History in my undergraduate years. I put myself through college working a few days a week as a mechanic for a Jaguar/MGB dealer and some weekends as a lead guitarist for a rock band. I love music and still play in a group. I also acted a bit in NYC while teaching high school (4 years) and at universities such as Fairleigh Dickinson in Madison and several others.

I was blessed to go to a private high school where I had several years of Latin and some elementary Greek. My parents infected me n with the reading virus, so I own thousands of books--and, yes--I've read them all!

When the weather permits, I bike between 75 to 100 miles a week,
but when the weather turns, I hit the gum. I love the outdoors, so I also kayak and hike along with the biking.

As you can see, I am an active, involved person who loves life and thinks that the glass in not just half full, but flowing over. So get in touch already: billwallre
