Attacking the students aspirations and goals of their personal requests to the trainer, and getting to know the client and where they would like to see themselves in a limited time of training so the clients money and time isn't left in the mud! 

Drum lessons are unique with me because of my background with all percussion makes lessons flexible and fun. I tailor my lessons to the students wants and desires while also building their technical skill in all areas of percussion so they can play everything while excelling at what they enjoy the most. This makes a very fun and educational experience.

I have played Pan for 26 years and love to help others learn how fantastic the instrument can be!

Steel Drum:
A modern pan is a chromatically pitched percussion instrument made from 55 gallon industrial drums that formerly contained chemicals. The pan is struck using a pair of straight sticks tipped with rubber; the size and type of rubber tip varies according to the class of pan being played. The student will learn the basics of notes,
reading, rhythms, how to play songs, theory and improvisation.

My experience speaks for itself. From Drum Corp to being on tour to studio work to theater shows there really is not much I haven't played or taught, I focus a lot on how to practice because not many people really know how to practice the right way to get the most out of their performance.

I love to show students how to play the Steel Pan! It is incredibly fun, rewarding, and is a skill you can use to make money in the Tampa Bay Area!

I focus on practical skills, getting songs under your belt and teach you how to learn new music on your own so you can be successful!
