I worked as a celebrity photographer for Splash News Agency ,something I consider to be top paying as far as street photography go. You must know your camera or could miss the money shot. After studying photography and receiving my BFA I found out that I had an imagination for conceptual photography and an eye for candid shots. I incorporate photography into my fine art paintings. I’ve traveled the world teaching kids to use there eyes .(The Venice Dream Team) and ( See it to be it) were two organizations I’ve worked with teaching photography. Nikon has been my choice of equipment since the 70s,yes I do know film ,darkrooms and papers as well as digital. My self I am a hands on learner and I believe a teacher should have patience and that people learn differently. I’m a great listener

During lessons I will provide constant feedback and adjust lessons depending on your needs and level of understanding. Students have different learning styles so I will teach lessons that incorporate visual, verbal, and written teaching methods. Students can expect a professional, enthusiastic, and patient teacher that is serious about students learning the subject materials and also makes learning fun.

About Belinda

The first lesson went very well with my daughter. Belinda was methodical in her teaching and approached the lesson with my daughter’s interest in mind. During the lesson, Belinda was able to actively engage my daughter the whole time, and more importantly, her teaching revived my daughter’s interest in drawing. She has already devised future plans to have my daughter practice sketching noses, eyes, and ears so that my daughter may draw the human face later with more realistic details.

I can teach you how to make money with Calligraphy and Hand Lettering.

I start out with nomenclature, then I go into the basics of composition, flourishes, tracking, and anatomy. Then I get into skeletal stroke order for Serif, Sans Serif and Script (focusing on whichever one the student wants), and I provide more in depth training in each specific style of interest.

I also can teach you hand lettering which is different from Calligraphy in that the rules are much looser and it is very stylized, and is a lot more fun.

This spring semester started off very stressful, but after getting James to tutor me for my music business class it have been a big relief. My grades started going back up and the biggest accomplishment of them all is that I passed my class with a B+. “Thank god out of all the teachers on takelessons.com I chose him.”

James is very caring and understanding and most definitely knows his stuff when it comes to Music business. He really cares about his student’s and really wants to see them win , even when he’s not on the clock with you at the moment he randomly sends you helpful tips and interesting reading files that can help you along the way to become a success artist. I will most definitely keep him around while I'm on my Musical Journey ! and If I were you I would too.

"Mrs. Maggie is a very humble person we have met and she is very keen when it comes to teaching art to kids. Both my girls look forward to go to her every week and learn new things related to sketching and drawing. She spends time in making the kids understand as to what she wants them to do and kids really do it well.... she is very encouraging, inspiring and active in her way of teaching art which I really admire. Am very happy to be have her as our art teacher and absolutely will recommend to all my friends. We are blessed to have you Mrs. Maggie 😇"

"Excellent teachers know each student's strengths and limitations and they build upon both, Ms.Maggie is one of those teachers. My daughter has bloomed after joining Ms.Maggie’s class. She taught her how to apply the fundamentals of art, and incorporate the use of a variety of materials, techniques, and styles.
