Jeremy was great! My daughter’s first lesson went very well. Her first instructor joined the military, so we were left to select someone new. By God’s grace and a lot of help from Michael at TakeLessons, we landed on Jeremy’s profile. We couldn’t have gotten a better instructor the second time around! It’s like an extension of the first lessons! Jeremy is knowledgeable, kind, sincere, laid back, patient, and encouraging. What more could we ask for? As a mother, I really appreciate his communication with me via phone and email. If you are looking for a great instructor, you can do no better than Jeremy!

Honestly could not have asked for a better instructor! I have heard nothing but good things from my kid, as well as seeing improvement in her playing. Very punctual and friendly!

First lesson was great. It took a little time setting up and getting to know each other. For a first lesson, I came away with some very useful information on a song I was having a problem with. I like the direction it is going. Looking forward to the next lesson.

Ukulele lessons are incorporated into my instruction practice as ukulele is traditionally easier than guitar for inexperienced players. It’s a smaller body, neck, and fretboard, and has nylon strings instead of steel strings. It will help the student develop confidence in their playing to songs that inspire them. Great teacher! Very professional, experienced, patient with students. My son enjoys piano lessons with him both online and in person. I highly recommend Mr. Steve as an instructor.
Matt O.
Steve has been a fellow teacher of mine for over a decade. We've shared stories, compared notes (no pun intended), and talked about how awesome it is to be able to give our students all of the knowledge we've gained through thousands of hours of teaching experience and playing our instruments. Steve also has a professional sound setup for online teaching that makes remote learning easier for the student. I highly recommend Steve for piano, guitar, and/or drum lessons. Someone with that kind of versatility and education should not be passed up when searching for a teacher.

David enjoys teaching ukulele to beginner and intermediate students. Whether you are just starting out or you've been playing for a while, he is happy to teach you! Over all, he is fairly laid back, as long as you practice. He teaches chord formations and strum patterns, along with learning specific songs the student would like to learn.

David is also very pro music theory. He usually incorporates music theory into the curriculum in conjunction with the material already being discussed. He is also very knowledgeable about composition/songwriting, and if the student is interested in learning more about this area, he is happy to share what he knows!

About David

David is a successful singer/songwriter/guitarist out of Fairfax, VA. He has a bachelor's degree in Music with a concentration in composition from Salisbury University, where he also studied jazz and classical guitar . In the 25 years he has been performing (20 of those professionally) and playin

Experienced ukelele teacher of 10 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of fingerstyle ukelele skills. I specialize in reggae, pop and world music, typically use Hal Leonard books (among others), and also have the following tools available to use during lessons: sound recording equipment, sheet music, and more.

About Justin

Like most guitarists, I had always wanted to play the guitar as a little kid. Luckily, my parents finally caved to the request (ok ok, incessant begging) and I began my guitar journey at the age of 11. After now 20 years of playing and 12 years of teaching, I am excited to share my experience and t

This was my first lesson ever on a stringed instrument but I was very impressed with Justin, my instrument ended up having an issue and he still came up with stuff for us to work on despite the mandolin having a malfunction. He also helped me figure out what needs to be adjusted for my mandolin to play correctly. I am looking forward to my next lesson.

I've been taking ukulele lessons with Chuck for over a year now. I am always impressed with his musical knowledge and appreciate the way he goes beyond the songs and also teachers me musical notation, chord progressions, and more. My lessons are always fun, with just the right amount of challenge to keep my skill development moving forward. Thanks, Chuck!"

"Jason is very friendly and personable. He started with the basics on chords on the ukulele and he was patient with me. I learned different ways to hold a chord, strumming, chord progressions, and beginning picking. I enjoyed learning so much in the short amount of time that the lesson went by quickly. I am going to sign up my son to go with me and have back to back lessons. Mahalo Jason!"
