I graduated in classical ballet Cecchetti method.
I am also graduated in the method Orazio Costa (mimetic method).
I like to experience the two forms that are complementary.
The first: the grace through exercise and awareness.
The second: the freedom through organically reunited with nature.
The body speaks and means. Let's give voice together

Whether you're an advanced dancer looking to improve technique for an upcoming competition or a complete beginner wanting to learn the basics, I'd be happy to help! All ages are welcome!

I believe that a dance teacher should have a healthy balance of strict adhesion to excellence and a good dose of pure fun! Dance may not be easy but it is an extremely awarding and fun experience. I would love to help you take your technique to the next level. My goal is that you will grow in confidence and know your self-worth!

I was classically trained in the Vaganova Method, therefore it is the method I train with for Ballet lessons. In addition to being able to assist with Ballet technique (barre work, across the floor, turns, leaps, etc), I teach lyrical and jazz. You will learn terminology as well as execution.

Each class will be structured to fit your individual needs! Let me know if you want special attention to help with an upcoming audition or specific help with flexibility. Or whatever ...

"Da-Rell did a great job teaching me how to dance in advance of a family wedding. I already had an instructor for ballroom dances, but needed someone to loosen me up for the club (rock, pop, hip-hop) dancing which represented a large part of the repertoire of the band's program at the wedding. After 5 hours of lessons I felt confident both using the moves that DaRell had taught me as well as even inventing some of my own along the way. DaRell did a great job on a difficult assignment, outside of the normal repertoire of most dance lessons."

"Beyond expectations

From our first phone call, Gina became invested in my dance journey. From modern dance, to ballet and contemporary, Gina has guided me into a new world of performance and dance. Outside of our scheduled lessons, we are loosely collaborating on a creative project - something I thought was years away until I met Gina. She taught me tactical dance fundamentals while also helping me navigate the dance and theater scene in NYC. (with which she is very connected) The best thing for me was her flexibility with the learning process. She encourages everyone to make their own journey, never forcing too much structure but always being reliable. I look forward to continuing this journey. Thank you!"
