I teach my students how to hear and apply melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic musical forms.

Ear training assists instrumentalists and vocalists in mastering the technical and stylistic aspects of their instruments, writers in notating music they have created or arranged, and listeners in understanding what they are hearing.

Mr.Conran is a great voice teacher with very effective techniques to help sing better. My son, who sings really good, was not able to do a good job with his voice especially when he performs in the concerts. But, after we start the lessons with Mr.Conran, he is improving and getting better in his posture and singing!. I am blessed to find a teacher for my son to excel in his talent.

I chose Eleonora as my 11-year-old daughter's harp instructor, and we've been really pleased and enriched by the experience. Early on, my daughter experienced an affinity for this instrument, and I've been very impressed by Eleonora's technique and teaching style and how she helps cultivate my daughter's organic joy and interest in this beautiful instrument. Eleonora is excellent with children, explaining music ideas in a way a child can understand, digest, and incorporate. She meets my daughter where ever is needed and has a great sense for this. When my daughter was learning something new, she told Eleonora, "This is hard." Eleonora responded casually and authoritatively: "There is no hard, only new." This, and the emphasis on practice, really eased my daughter who likes to get everything right the first time and needs this kind of reframing and encouragement when experiencing a new challenge. As an artist myself, I really appreciate this approach and philosophy, but most importantly, I can see my daughter does, too. Whether you're an adult learning for the first time or you have a child who has interest, let your musical lives be enriched by this patient, knowledgeable instructor.

I’ve been one of Eleonora’s first students and I’ve studied harp with her for 4 years. It has been very rewarding.
I was always looking forward to her lessons: she inspired us to practice for competitions and she always encouraged me to play in front of an audience, giving the very best of my self.
Playing the harp has always been a great joy for me thanks to her lessons.
Paola
Eleonora Pellegrini is a great professional!
She has been my daughter’s harp teacher for two years: she’s very talented! She’s a special person, she is very skilled both playing and teaching the harp.
She changed my daughter’s life, who know has an excellent knowledge of music basics.

I figure out exactly where you are in your technique and knowledge of music and of the instrument. Then, I start teaching from there! For me, the goal of lessons should be the goal of the student, and I do my best to honor that while pushing my students to surpass those goals.

In my career, I primarily play the tenor and baritone saxophones, but I play a lot of alto and soprano as well. Additionally, I also play the clarinet, bass clarinet, flute and piccolo, and help out a lot of my more advanced saxophone students with doubling on these instruments.

I encourage my advanced Jr. High and High School students to audition for various honor groups throughout California and the country such as SCSBOA, CBDA, JBOA, etc. With my background in these groups, I can effectively help my students prepare for the best audition they can do.

I believe that it is very important to have a good musical foundation in addition to playing the trumpet. We will go over aspects of music theory such as scales and key signatures. We will go over the fundamentals of playing trumpet and use exercises from various different method books. We will also go in depth into any styles that you are interested in. I will ask you to listen to recordings of great trumpet players so you can model their sound. Lessons will be rewarding and fun!

About Matt

I attended West Chester University from 2011-2015 and graduated with my bachleor's in music education. I performed in the marching band, symphonic band, wind ensemble, jazz ensembles, various trumpet ensembles, and a brass quintet. One of my trumpet ensembles made it to the semifinals in the Nation

"Peter is simply amazing. Not only is he a genius composer/piano player/lyricist/singer/songwriter, but his ability to teach is simply out of this world. He is kind and sensitive, very willing to go slow and make sure the concepts are really understood. He is also fun and makes learning feel easy. I always look forward to my lessons and I always leave wishing I had more time.

I was a scared singer but Peter has really helped me overcome that fear and feel comfortable with my own voice. He is encouraging and very supportive. I would recommend Peter to anyone, seriously ANYONE. He is great with children of all ages, adults, and even seniors.

I would take the opportunity to work with Peter NOW before he becomes too famous, because I am absolutely sure he will in the very immediate future."

"OMG! Such a great teacher! Jay is VERY patient, accommodating, easy going and overall NICE.

We look forward to having him come to our home to do private lessons with our 8 year old daughter every week.
He speaks her language and knows how to refocus her in such a creative, positive way.

She is learning at an accelerated rate, as Jay is really working to instill the basics so that she has a thorough understanding before moving forward. They do a lot of repetition and recall, and he leaves her with homework that she is happy to work on throughout the week.
We have booked Jay for more classes and will continue to work with him indefinitely!

Thank you for providing us the opportunity to find Jay,Take Lessons! BEST decision ever!"
