My lessons are a balance of fun and focus
I have great passion for music, have been involved in music since childhood. I love the teaching process and have been dreaming of teaching music since I was 10 years old.
Mr. Ley M. is passionate about music. His love for the art is evident in his enthusiastic and energetic teaching techniques. As the music teacher for the Elementary School Music Program with the Newark Unified School District, Mr. Ley M. is exceedingly patient with all students, encourages them, and coaxes the very best effort from each and every child.
We were very fortunate that Mr. Ley M. was able to provide private tutoring for my son beyond the after school music program. My son has made tremendous progress in learning to play the clarinet. Mr. Ley M. has given my child a strong musical foundation-learning the correct embouchure and fingering techniques to play the clarinet, increasing proficiency in reading notes, timing, and hearing pitch.
Although Mr. Ley M. is one of the best music teacher in the area, his prices are extremely reasonable. In my opinion, he is worth every penny he charges and I certainly believe I have received excellent services for my money. I am tremendously grateful to Mr. Ley M. for everything he has taught my son and the joy of my son’s music playing has brought to our family.

I have been very pleased working with Lena over the past month. She adapts to various levels (I'm plain novice), covers theory and helps to conquer challenging pieces. I liked that she encouraged me to pursue a more complicated song I was interested in. At the same time, we covered easier ones to work on the basics.
Lena is a very pleasant person to deal with and I'm looking forward to continue taking lessons with her."
Denise is very knowledgeable and uses imagery to help me visualize the placement of the sound which I have found to be fascinating and extremely effective."
