Valerie N.

Biddeford, ME

About Valerie

I like to tailor my teaching style to my student's needs, so you can progress at your rate, with your kind of music. I can teach pop or classical, whichever you prefer. What's important is your having fun and making progress. *** Specialties *** Although my favorite is classical music, I'm very happy to work with whatever genre suits you. I also like to include a reasonable amount of theory, if you'd like. I do try to explain the relevance of theory to the music at hand, and how it can help further understanding of the piece, often making it easier and more fun to play.

If you want the best, then schedule a lesson with Angelika. I am an adult who wanted to learn more about piano but also in understanding music in general. So far, I have learned many techniques that make quite a difference in the way a piece sounds and in how much enjoyment I (and anyone who may be listening!) get from playing it. Angelika explains things very well and has the patience sometimes needed when learning something new…or in becoming better at it. Go ahead, do it for yourself (or those you love). You will not be disappointed!
