It has been an absolute pleasure working with Carl! My son and I both are taking lessons with him. He is very patient and supportive during our lessons. I have learned so much in such a short time with Carl, and is one of the best teachers I have had. I did take band in my younger years so I have some music behind me, but it was for tuba not sax. I wasn't sure about doing this and it was more of a Christmas present for my son and I, but I will reschedule when I am done with my current schedule. It has been well worth my time and money! Thanks Carl!!!

I've been a quality assurance engineer for over thirty years. how does this apply? well, I've learned all the 'degrees' of good and bad in manufacturing which inherently includes people and their skills. Carl is an excellent teacher because he has all the characteristics that go into the making of a good product--or, in this case, teaching. I know that I'll get the most for my money when working with Carl because he is that good. that's why I've decided to open end my lesson plan with him. I know he'll teach me a lot and, for me, that's what it's all about.

Tammy is a fantastic teacher! She is able to to help students of all levels achieve their goals. Her students learn the fundamentals as well as musical nuance. I was impressed with her ability to not only notice my weaknesses, but also to come up with several ways to fix them. If you are looking for a flute teacher look no further!

About John

My students enjoy working with me because, even though we work hard and accomplish a lot at each lesson, we do so with a sense of fun and adventure. I take a balanced approach to lesson assignments, always considering suggestions from the student, along with my own determination of their technical and musical needs. I do not have a fixed teaching method, but tailor my instruction to the individual student.

I have had the privilege of performing with John this past year. He is an outstanding musician who continues to search for artistic moments within a piece. John is without a doubt the best pianist I've ever performed with. As a teacher, John is patient and encouraging. He works well with many different ages and talent levels.

As a composer, John is equally as talented. I had the honor of recording the solo parts to some of his original compositions. They are creative, catchy, and appropriately written for each instrument. He has a firm grasp on what it takes to be an extraordinary composer.
