James has been my daughters Guitar instructor for over 3 years now...It is very difficult to find the right kind of person to isolate with a child and have comfort. James is an Outstanding person and a great teacher. Our daughter totally enjoys the time learning with James and she has improved continuously with her Guitar skills. James is very patient and very approachable - two mandatory traits for a good teacher. I could go on but this is supposed to be brief - James is the best!

I started taking drum lessons with Shawn almost a year ago and couldn't ask for a better mentor/ drum instructor. We started with basic beats and rhythm fills while working in any song request I wanted to use as my focus. He has the ability to adapt during the lesson to match my skills while not giving me exercises beyond my level. I am now getting comfortable using the double bass pedal and have integrated a variety of fundamentals that I wouldn't have been able to learn on my own. I simply can't wait for my next lesson.

About Blake

Hello and thank you for reviewing my profile. My name is Blake and I started playing the Viola in 1986 (I was in 4th Grade). I continued to develop my skills, playing with churches and symphonies throughout my youth and into my adult career. I began working with students while still in High School and have seemed to always had a student or two to work with. My focus is on posture, tone, position and quality of sound. My students love me and enjoy our time working on new and exciting music. We are not only focused on scales but to encourage and build my students as they grow into accompli
