First, Andrea had such a pleasant personality upon meeting her. I like that she is patient and adjusts her teaching style to meet my needs. She was open to teaching me the songs I wanted to learn. I was nervous going in since I have never had voice lessons but she has helped me to feel comfortable in growing my singing voice.

Outstanding instructor of guitar. He goes above and beyond when it comes to teaching students how to play the guitar. He is very flexible, understanding, knowledgeable, and patient when he delivers his classes. Not only does he teach students how to play the guitar, he also does other things like teaching them how to tune their guitars, how to change keys when necessary to make a song sound better, and how to use a capo when playing the guitar. All of these are above and beyond what most teachers have taught me in the past. I really enjoy taking classes from my instructor.

Michael was very helpful with my Skype issues. It was our first lesson and I didn't know that much about Skype. As to his teaching me he was very understanding and made me feel as easy. He showed me the proper breathing method with the chanter. I am looking forward to my next lesson with Michael.

I started taking lessons with Michal Chodosh to learn music theory and reading music. In the time I have worked with Michael, I have learned a lot. When I began lessons, I didn't know scales or modes, knew only basic chords and wasn't able to read sheet music. In addition to that, I was barely able to follow tablature. Michael has taught me about all of those items and more. Lessons with Michael are a lot of fun. There is always great interaction between students so that newer students can learn from both Michael and from other students while becoming comfortable with learning about the guitar. Deciding to take lessons from Michael was a great decision. I've thoroughly enjoyed learning how to play the guitar.

My introduction to Michael came when he sat in with a band I was playing with....I was so blown away by his playing, I ended up taking lessons from him.

Micheal has helped open up new frontiers in playing and theory for me without ever making me feel like a dummy for not knowing things. One of the best things about him is that his teaching style makes students feel comfortable, but also challenged.

Michael has the experience, patience, and knowledge to help everybody from beginners to working professionals learn and improve. Heck, he even taught me to sing my first legitimate vocal harmony.

Time with Michael Chodosh is time well spent!

About Kevin

I truly enjoy teaching. I've taught in the public school classroom for 11 years. Teaching music is so so much FUN! And it should be fun for the students to learn. When I'm teaching I tell all my students that if they don't enjoy and smile about something, then we need to change something.

I would love to start lessons with you soon.

Kevin is a great instructor. Really enjoying my lessons. If doing them over skype, I would recommend using a hardwired connection and not wifi. Laggy skype connection on my end is the only problem. Kevin's connection is fine.

After many different guitar teachers and disappointing results, I nearly put my guitar away for good. Fortunately, I decided to give it one more try by signing up with Kevin. He helped me make the most of what I had already learned before moving on to new techniques. Now I can play many of my favorite songs. I'm more confident and happier than ever with my playing. I'm even playing for other people, and I've even written a song, two things I never imagined myself doing. Kevin is patient, tactful and supportive. He never makes me feel stupid or incompetent. He is an excellent teacher. As a former teacher myself, I recommend him without reservation.

Really appreciate the level of professionalism and skill Kevin brings to lessons for my daughter who is 11. She is challenged to learn and enjoys the lessons. Kevin provides a worksheet of things to work on over the week so my daughter always knows what to do during her practice sessions. We have mostly done private 45 minute lessons, but Kevin has the flexibility to offer semi-private lessons as well, and my daughter has also enjoyed taking lessons with a friend!
