Peter A.

Morrisville, PA

About Peter

My name is Pete. I've been playing guitar for over 15 years. In 2011 I graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston with a degree in Professional Music. There, I spent several semesters studying with Tomo Fujita (former teacher of John Mayer and Eric Krasno). I've also studied with legendary guitarist Pat Metheny and Jack Pezanelli. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Wes Montgomery, and Jimi Hendrix are responsible for inspiring me to play guitar and I specialize in teaching blues and jazz guitar, bass, and piano. I firmly believe that every serious musician should study ear training and music theory and I incorporate these areas in my lessons as long as the student wants to study this way. I've performed with a bunch of great artists in the Boston and Philadelphia area.

Great guitar teacher. Incredibly knowledgeable. Really takes the time to understand my playing ability and needs and then develops the perfect lesson plan. I have improved dramatically after just 5 lessons.

Peter is the second teacher I have studied under for the guitar. The first taught me, as a raw 60 year old, a few chords, tab and strumming technique. It took years. Peter has taken me in a few months far beyond this. Classical guitar, music theory and 'finger style' playing. I am amazed that this young man has the patience and teaching ability to move an old timer like myself forward. He is incredibility flexible, not only in scheduling lessons but in shear musical ability - it didn't phase him in the least when I showed up with a electric bass one day and asked him to show me some basics. Now I'm studying both! Highly Recommended.

Matthew S.

Levittown, PA

About Matthew

I started playing trumpet in grade school and was in the marching band the first year of high school. I then switched to playing upright bass in the orchestra. This led to me being a part of the jazz band and playing instrumentals for school musicals. Upon graduation time, I received the gold medal for music performance in strings. I was also an AP music theory student. After, I pursued a bachelor's degree in music and took education courses. I have tutored music theory and given instrument lessons, but they were always self employed or from the university. I wish to help others make music an enjoying part of their lives, as it is in mine. *** Lesson Details *** For lessons, I like to get a feel of the student's current abilities and then start from there. I'm progressive in my ...

Amanda is a fabulous patient teacher. Although my son (15 years old) only took a few lessons with her, the background musical foundation she taught him can be applied to whatever musical area he finally settles on.

She is the absolute best! Not only does she help build a foundation, but also helps the student achieve their goals. She is patient and always has a different way to explain things, if you don't understand. I would recommend her to any person, of any level, interested in getting a singing teacher.

Rachel is wonderful for so many reasons. She allows her students to feel comfortable and fills them with confidence. It had been over 6 years since the last time I sang publicly and I came to Rachel very nervous and filled with stage fright. With her as my vocal coach I am now more confident and a much stronger singer then I could have imagined and this is only after working with her for less then a year and I can not wait to see what she has in store for me next. She is truly a gifted teacher.
