Pamela is a teacher.

Pamela was very patient with my young daughter. She taught her the beginning stages of reading music and her voice became clearer and louder because of the confidence she gained during her sessions. I would recommend Pamela as a singing instructor for any age but she was so patient and encouraging for my young daughter. We loved it.

Andrew naturally has an ear and talent for music, always has. His passion for music started self taught and advanced throughout his professional career. His music range is wide spread stylistically, thus as a teacher he can focus on many different areas with each of his students. His improvisation skills are effortless both on stage and in our jam sessions. Andrew has a way of teaching that makes learning music very approachable. He is patient and well thought out about the process. Always fun to watch on stage and a joy to work with.

Andrew is a fantastic teacher!
He will go at your pace and make sure he is focusing on what you really want to accomplish. not to mention he is an actual gigging musician so he plays a lot. If you want to play in a band or play with a group he has feedback on that information for you as well!
I personally don't think you could go wrong with a teacher like Andrew.

Matthew S. Levittown, PA

About Matthew

I started playing trumpet in grade school and was in the marching band the first year of high school. I then switched to playing upright bass in the orchestra. This led to me being a part of the jazz band and playing instrumentals for school musicals. Upon graduation time, I received the gold medal for music performance in strings. I was also an AP music theory student. After, I pursued a bachelor's degree in music and took education courses. I have tutored music theory and given instrument lessons, but they were always self employed or from the university. I wish to help others make music an enjoying part of their lives, as it is in mine. *** Lesson Details *** For lessons, I like to get a feel of the student's current abilities and then start from there. Amanda is a fabulous patient teacher. Although my son (15 years old) only took a few lessons with her, the background musical foundation she taught him can be applied to whatever musical area he finally settles on.

Highly engaging music teacher for children

Amanda R has been coming to my home to teach my daughters, ages 6 and 8, piano and music theory (reading music, etc) for several months now. We are very pleased with her. After a series of private and group lessons with other highly qualified teachers, we finally found all we were looking for with Amanda. She is well-spoken, well-educated and very professional both in person and in email or phone communication. She engages the children from the first moment and is very patient with them. They trust her and enjoy working with her. Amanda was able to quickly see what the girls already knew and where their knowledge had gaps, and to tailor lessons to their abilities and interests. The practice she assigns during the week is very reasonable/not overwhelming. the girls show a very good improvement in their music skills! I would recommend Amanda to any family looking for a music teacher for their children. She clearly has a passion and gift for working with kids!

Rachel is very nice and willing to help. She takes time to get to know her students before working with them to get the most out of the lessons. This was my first time ever taking lessons so I was a bit nervous but Rachel is super friendly and doesn't judge you on your ability. I also live on a college campus and she was willing to do the lessons on campus. Since I didn't have a way to get to her this was very awesome! I'm very excited for the lessons to come.

Rachel is confident and caring. She is extremely knowledgeable about correct breathing and singing technique. She's very patient and puts you immediately at east. Out of all the music lessons I've taken, piano and guitar; singing is the most personal. Rachel really helps you to get over any self consciousness. I've seen improvement after just a few sessions and I'm excited to continue on.
