I would describe myself as a motivated dancer, and my message for teaching is simply this: teaching a passion for dance. I have been dancing from a very young age, and I have fallen in love with the dancing and the performing arts. Now, my newest passion is instilling the same love for dance into those who are new to this experience.
I have been teaching dance for over 6 years. I excel in choreography and technique. If you are looking to brush up your skills or you're just starting out, I am the girl for you. I have taught all levels 2-adult in ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, pop jazz (like in music videos), burlesque, turns and technique, etc. I always start with a warm up and teach main moves to build off of so you can build that confidence that is so important in any dance performance :)
I have been dancing for over ten years as a dancer, instructor, choreographer, educator, and enthusiast. I have loved dance and fitness for many years. I incorporate them both in my daily life. I graduated from University of Texas Pan American with a Bachelors of Arts in dance performance in 2011 and have been teaching in public schools since then. I have trained with numerous teachers and choreographers and am always learning new techniques in an effort to better myself. I am trained in almost all dance styles. If you've seen it, I've probably done it.
Hi, there! My name is Monica M. and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2004 and have loved helping my students fulfill their passions for dance, learn and achieve correct dance technique, and watching them advance beyond what they thought possible. I went to college on a dance scholarship in 2004, and I taught at a studio Houston and San Antonio, also have taught many award winning dance routines. I'm a motivated and inspiring person and my teaching style is positive, energetic, and enthusiastic. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
"Steven is very professional and extremely helpful. He always has a smile on and is serious about helping you phrase the music. I would highly recommend him to anyone."
"It's been really exciting so far! Jordan has been so helpful, so knowledgeable. I could not have found a better instructor and I'm getting better and better every day."
"My daughter's wedding was weeks away and I had never been able to dance a step. With Jenny's help, I came further than ever before in such short time in any subject."
