There is no greater feeling than to feel loved and accepted. Earning a living while working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is one of my biggest dreams. Caring for infants is my passion. Turning my dream into a reality, I plan to receive my Master of Science Degree in Nursing so that when the time comes for me to start fulfilling my dreams as a Neonatal Nurse, I will have already mastered my field of study. While in the process, I am going to volunteer at a children’s hospital to gain more experience and become an expertise. Even if I am just learning how to properly hold infants at the time, I will be okay with that because I have to start somewhere and learning the little things is just as important, especially when it comes to small children. One of the main reasons as to why caring for infants is my passion is because I want to give them the same chance I had growing up. Whether a newborn is adopted or brought home, I want to be that luminous light in his/her life that makes him/her feel loved and accepted. I can’t stress it enough how important it is for newborns, and children in general, to have at least one person that they can count on for the sake of their development and their mental state of mind. It is with keeping less ill children out of the hospital and spreading my love, the world will change.
