Growing up in the rural countryside of Pennsylvania had both its ups and downs. Friends, and entertainment were hard to come by, but also there was the serenity of the country and the beauty of nature that made it a wonderful childhood. Aside from all of that though, I made it what it was
The phenomenon of not knowing what could happen next and being filled with adrenaline has always struck me as desirable. My current career path reflects that as I’m going into criminal justice. Whether I decide to be in law enforcement, legal work, or social work, there is always going to be those aspects of variation, mystery, and excitement to a certain extent which is what I get the most enjoyment from out of life. Given the opportunity and the position to make a difference in the world in this field of work, I would dedicate not only my fullest capability of professional performance, but also contribute my strong sense of morals to my work. Corruption, abuse of power, and many other issues plague our country and give government, law, and social workers an undesirable reputation in the eyes of many citizens. My aim is to make a difference by succeeding in the field and doing my job not only the correct way, but also in a morally sound manner as well.
My ambition is defined by completing my bachelor’s degree, serving in the military, and ultimately finding an important role in the field in the future.
