If I could earn a living doing what I love most, it would be a spiritual writer and teacher. I believe that being a spiritual teacher and writer, helping people know how God wants us to enjoy this journey, and living in peace with joy every day is my calling.
However, when God opened the door for me and put me in the community college in my late 30s, I was not sure what exactly God wants me to do when I finish English Literature degree. The only thing that I am sure is that God has His purpose for me, and putting me in college as a non-traditional student is a part of His plan for me.
There is no my plan to fulfill God’s purpose for me, and the only thing that I can do is to follow Him, focus on what is in front of me, and do my best. When I listen to God, do what He wants me to do, He gives me solution for every obstacle that I have met in the learning journey at college.
These three years from ESL course to college courses, He always has provided me everything that I need to get my course assignments done. He is faithful and continues doing miracles in my life. Without God’s blessings, there is no way for me to attend college, chipping away those limitations and trying to become the best person that I am able to become.
Being a single mother and first generation immigration attending college in the United States is a miracle. The difficulties and obstacles in learning journey allow me to see how God works in people’s lives, and that is how I see God’s calling for me.
He is working in my life. Again, the only thing that I have to do is to focus on what He wants me to do and do my best.
