I was told at a young age that “If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.” That really suck in my mind and it has guided me to where I am now. Music is my passion and I love helping others, so what better way to incorporate both of those things into a career than by becoming a Music Teacher? My high school choral conductor had a huge impact on me, and I would love to give a young kid the guidance and influence that he gave to me. Music students have been shown to have better math skills, better problem solving skills, better multitasking skills and just be better students. A world with more music students is a great world, and I will be entering a small world like that as I take on the challenge of being a Music Education Major this fall. This is the first big step to making my dream of sharing music with the world, while still helping kids to be better people, come true.
