Since the fourth grade I have been involved in Martial Arts, and did so until my junior year of high school. I competed for around two years at state and local levels earning a name for myself. After that I traveled around with a performance team preforming everywhere! During my sophomore year of high school I received a career ending injury to my right knee, and after a year I was forced to retire.
If I could make a living teaching Martial Arts, that would be amazing! I would need an amazing studio! I would need multiple rooms to hold multiple classes. Not only to fit the needs of customers but also to teach multiple types of martial arts. Rooms for different age levels, sparring, performance teams, defense classes. Etc. I would absolutely love to coordinate shows for people to witness how amazing martial arts is! With my eight and plus years involved in Martial arts I believe I could run a successful and amazing martial arts studio, however I have witnessed it’s not an easy business.
In addition, I would be able to help others. Being in martial arts has helped me immensely physically and mentally. I have grown as a person becoming outgoing, confident and determined. As for physically, I was healthy, slim, and very active! I made tons of friends and experienced new things. My only wish would be to help others experience those same things, and using them to help in their future problems or situations.
