Growing up I was never intrigued in my classes, the world surrounding me had always proven to hold greater interest in the vast imagination inside of this head. Whether it was climbing trees, swinging on a swing, riding my bike, or just lying on a hill watching clouds morph into various forms I always longed to be outside. Furthermore a young age my passion for school exhausted, I fell into the wrong crowd; caring more about hanging out with “friends” than furthering my academics. Once my junior year crept on me, I realized that I desperately had to get serious about my future unless I longed to have a career that I could be replaced at any time if a person came along and would be paid less but work harder. That moment was when I really began to think about what I would enjoy doing for the rest of my life, I discovered athletic training. Realizing I would be outdoors frequently as well as being able to assist other athletes pleased me. Hence my goal is to become the best trainer that I can be and learn all that I can. I have always had an overwhelming passion for helping and if I were to get this scholarship I would further my education. In conclusion, I would use the funds to help with my expenses, to enable myself to focus on excelling versus focusing on how to pay for the next four years, every little bit truly does help.
