The thing I love most is being on a stage performing in theatrical productions, whether it is a musical or a straight play. So making it big on Broadway and earning a living by starring in shows would be a dream come true. I would change the world by creating a foundation that supports struggling theatre departments in high schools across America. Normally when schools are cutting programs, they always cut from the art programs first. This leaves those programs with not enough funding to put on a quality production that the student body would want to attend. From personal experience, my high school drama department could not afford its own set of stage microphones so a huge cut of the department’s money had to go towards renting stage microphones. My hypothetical theatre foundation would donate large sums of money to update the schools’ theatre, lights, sound, curtain, etc. and all other technical aspects so that the drama departments could put their focus into the shows themselves. This would enable the high school drama departments to create the high quality show that they deserve.

I am currently on the road to achieving this dream. While I attend Palomar Community College, I will be working towards my AA, performing in shows and working on my skills as an actress. After I receive my AA, I will audition for University of California Irvine’s theatre program.Once I graduate from UCI, I will start auditioning for shows and starting my professional acting career.
