“Ladies and gentlemen, please fasten your seat belts for take off.” This was the moment I had been waiting for, for over a year. On August 9, 2011 I took off on a trip that would change my life forever. Spending a semester studying abroad in Denmark gave me the opportunity to see a sliver of this vast world, learn a new culture and language, and build life long relationships with my host family and classmates. While in Denmark I caught the “Bug” to travel and now plan on having a career as an international flight attendant.

I have a passion to help put an end to the atrocity of the sex trafficking of women and children. As a flight attendant I would want to be trained to recognize the signals of sex trafficking and report them to officials that would investigate the situation further. Saving the lives of these women and children would be the most fulfilling vocation I can think of, not to mention I would get to travel the world doing what I love.

My goals to accomplish this dream would include receiving a degree in communications from Trinity International University. With this degree I would acquire new skills that would improve my communication. To become the most useful flight attendant I can be, I am hoping to study abroad in Spain, where I can become fluent in Spanish. Knowing another language in this vocation would be extremely useful.
