If I could earn a living doing what I love most it would be composing beautiful works of music to entertain thousands of people. I am attending Eastern Illinois University with a major in music composition. I have my heart set on writing music for films, video games, and for the entertainment industry. If anything I would really like to write music that comes from the heart and soul. I appreciate many different genres of music, but am especially interested in piano, violin, and electronic music. I plan on eventually creating my own symphonic orchestra one day and having our concerts consist of pieces from video games, popular tunes, and pieces that I have written myself.
I am already planning my next four years of college out to gain as much experience and knowledge as possible. I am determined to exceed expectations in my course curriculum in music composition with a minor in entrepreneurship. I know that with this coursework I can learn enough to hit the ground running in starting up a brand new symphony orchestra, or just even writing different ensemble pieces that harness new world musical concepts. I have already begun writing several piano pieces and cannot wait to build upon what I already know. I want to adopt different aspects of different genres and styles of music. I want to mix the classical and modern electro-pop. To create new and exciting sounds that can be enjoyed by a large variety of people.
