The Ultimate Goal

Essay Question: If you could earn a living doing what you love most, what would it be, and how would it change the world? Describe the specific goals you would set to make that dream a reality.

There are many people who enjoy music out in the world today. I am one of those people and I would love to do something with music. On the flip side, I have always been one that struggles to find the greatest resources to learn how to play and practice. My dream job would be is to start a business to make the greatest musical resources opportunity available to every economic class. This would include music classes, auditoriums for all types of music, practice rooms, connections, a recording studio, and a shop.
It would be a great goal to be able to have a space for all musicians from beginners to experts and people of all economic classes. With the use of technology, I will create practice rooms with great sound insulation for the shy individuals. I will host fund raising shows to assist the poor music students in funding. I will create a membership program to bring out the best of the best teachers, increase their income and speed up student progress. However unrelated, I have always seen the homeless on the streets in rags. I have nothing for them, but I’d eventually like to create opportunities and job counseling for them too so they can turn their lives around.
Ideas continuously flow through my head and it just excites me. To me, this isn’t a dream, but one of my biggest goals in life. No matter how far this goes, I hope it will create a difference.
