If I could earn a living doing what I love most, it would be nursing. Individuals, who pursue a career in Nursing or any field of healthcare, are always devoting their time and effort to help improve the quality of life for individuals who are in need of healing and comfort. Taking on the responsibility of serving as a nurse means I would be solely responsible for optimal care and support whether it is physically, emotionally or both of any individual while fulfilling my duty as a nurse.
Practicing as a nurse would help me contribute change to the world by giving me an opportunity to work in different parts of world and with a variety of individuals from different backgrounds. I would be able to apply my knowledge, care and compassion to individuals who may not be able to reach out for proper healthcare. There are many parts of the world that do not have the resources to establish the healthcare needed; I wish to change that.
Completing college, along with attaining a Master’s degree in Nursing and a passionate promise for never-ending learning are goals I have set for myself. Having only three more classes until graduating with an Associate’s Degree, I feel as though I have achieved a big part of the first goal and it will supply me with motivation to continue forward. Medicine is constantly evolving; hence the love of learning and being passionate about the information will be a great asset to me.
