If I could earn a living doing what I love most it would be taking care of others. I enjoy spending one on one time with other people and making them feel better. I believe it could change the world because in this day and age it’s sadly uncommon for people to have that face to face, one on one connection. Connecting with people on a personal level and bringing us back to our roots as far as personal communication is very important to me.
To achieve this goal I have set high standards for myself academically, which is maintaining a 4.0 overall. I plan to keep an open line of communication with those I work with, including patients. I look forward to being able to get excited about going to work every day, taking care of others and making a difference in someone’s life.
I’ve been to many doctor’s offices and hospitals where I felt like a burden or an inconvenience to those caring for me, and I’d like to erase that when I become a medical assistant. I plan to keep my grades on the right track, work closely on interpersonal communication and making sure that patient I work with feels comfortable and safe during what can be a very scary time. Thank you for considering me for this scholarship, and I look forward to hearing back from you.
