I really enjoy learning and understanding something, whether it is a new concept or a newly learned ability. If I could do what I love most for a living, it would be to do research. Being in a research lab would allow me to learn new things constantly! This type of learning could be done to prevent people from getting sick, to help people become better, there is almost no limit to the possibilities brought about by knowing enough about something. Research relies on learning the behavior of things, especially in contact with people or with other things. I am so greatly excited to be in a lab setting with others and to share ideas of the nature of something while doing tests and practices to combat illness in people. I get so excited even talking and writing about it. But first, I must learn the appropriate protocol to research safely without harming others. Research changes the way people receive health care, how they are prescribed medicines, and ultimately, how people live in relationship to their environment.
To make this dream a reality, I would have to go through necessary learning to understand the nature of the things to be studied, this would be done by taking the appropriate science and Lab courses to learn the concepts. And eventually, taking more classes to fully understand complete the safety protocols required in lab research. Hopefully along the way, I might earn many degrees to illustrate the knowledge I would have over a given subject. I am currently fulfilling the goals for this dream by enrolling in the Biology-Chemistry program at Point Loma Nazarene University.
