Coming from an area that is considered low income there are lots of children that just needs that little extra attention. It is a small rural town so there isn’t as many organizations around that parents can turn to for help with troubled youths. I would like to take my two main passions which are American History and Football bring back to this area and help these children.
The subject that fascinates me the most, is American history. I find nothing more interesting then how our country has evolved and the battles that have been fought to give us our freedom. If we are to survive, as a country, we must know what our founding fathers had envisioned for us. We must learn from our mistakes so they will not be repeated. I cannot imagine any greater joy then imparting my knowledge to maybe inspire one of our future leaders.
Playing football is something that is in my heart, I would also like to get a minor in sports management and becoming a football coach. Football has taught me so much, how to be part of team, good sportsman, teaching me discipline, compassion and are just a few off the top of my head. My hope is to install these qualities, to create a better future for the next generation. After all our greatest accomplishments will be determined by the footprints we leave. If one person remembers me from my occupation, then what more could a person ask for?
