Music Performance
John studied piano with me as a secondary performance area when he was an undergraduate at Samford University. Although vocal music was his principal area, his work at the piano certainly would have qualified him to be a keyboard major. He studied difficult piano literature and played it with technical assurance and musical insight. He has a terrific love for music and has always found great pleasure in sharing it with others. I am confident that he will be an outstanding teacher.
Vicki July 26, 2015
I have known John for many years. John has an impressive knowledge of all things musical in addition to being a gifted performer AND teacher. He has extensive education, knowledge, and training in correct vocal and piano technique. He loves music and has the ability to communicate this to his students. Whether the student is a beginner or has advanced musical training, I highly recommend John!!

Classical Voice
John Bankson was one of Samford's outstanding students during his tenure here. I recommend him highly.
