Having Jonathan as my tutor has been very satisfying. He is a talented musician and an excellent teacher. He is skilled at patiently comm
unicating difficult concepts to those new to music. He made me feel more confident about my strong points while gradually moving me out of my comfort zone. In this way, I learned a great deal more than expected. I left the sessions with a richer understanding and appreciation of chord progressions, tonality, interpretation. I would highly recommend Jonathan to anyone."

I've been playing guitar for years now and wanted to learn the basics of piano. James was very helpful and he taught me how to play scale
s and arpeggios. He was very meticulous in teaching me the correct playing techniques and posture. We also had some music theory lessons in which he taught me how to read the treble and bass clefs. Now I can play the pieces that I wanted to play and also record myself on the piano and then play the guitar on top of it.
I recommend James for both Piano and Music Theory lessons. He was a great help to me and very professional."

"Excellent drum instructor
Our son, Jonah, has been taking lessons with Mike for a little over 18 months. It was one of the best decisions we ever made fo
r him. Mike established rapport with Jonah very quickly. He has learned our son's quirks, likes, capabilities - and tailors instruction accordingly. Mike is very professional, reliable, and there has never been a disconnect with communication. His studio is inviting to visitors, and we're so lucky to have him teach in our neighborhood."

I am a Westminster Choir College '11 Alum who graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Music, summa cum laude. I also have my master's degree in music therapy from Drexel University. I am also a Member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and a Board Certified Music Therapist. During my time at school I performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kimmel Center, and did music therapy work with older adults, as well as disadvantaged children and parents.
I also have my own parent/child music class I host every Thursday September-May. It's never to early to start a music education!
I have been teaching for over four years and now have a studio of more than 70 happy students. Teaching music is my passion, and I love seeing students grow!
I often draw upon my experience from my master's degree in music therapy, which taught me that music can have a profound effect on the human brain and upon cognitive development. My skills as a music therapist allow me to better understand a student's cognitive strengths and areas for improvement, and to develop individualized teaching strategies which utilize student strengths.

Hi, my name is Fred Lingenfelser, and I'm a drum and piano instructor in Berks County (Reading, PA). I've been playing drums for the past 20 years, as well as piano for the past 10 years, and have been a studio drummer for multiple albums, while touring both nationally and internationally with multiple music groups. I've been a music instructor since 2009, and have seen over 40 students become more skilled musicians over that span of time. In addition to teaching drums and piano, I'm also an assistant teacher for the BCIU in the Reading School District, and have a bachelors of science in Yout
h Ministry from Valley Forge Christian College.
I aim to make lessons lessons 1. affordable, 2. fun, and 3. effective. I believe that music plays an important role in the lives of humans, and it is very beneficial to be able to play an instrument. For myself, playing music is more than just a hobby; it's a passion. I strive to see other students (child, teenager, and adult) form the same passion for their instrument that I have, while expressing themselves with their own styles of play. If you're a prospective drum or piano student or the parent of one, I'd be more than honored to be your instructor.
*** Lesson Details *** I offer lessons of any time length, from a half hour up to two hours. I try to make lessons as affordable as possible, while making them as fun as possible. Seeing a student succeed and gain a passion for their instrument is my number one goal.
I have availabilities each day of the week Mondays-Fridays. You can look over my schedule to see my current openings.
Hello, I'm excited to pass on my knowlege and expertise to you! I love to teach, and my excitement and enthusiasm for teaching make my lessons memorable and fun. I have prepared my students for auditions and helped them achieve many
of their musical goals.

Suzanne is such a fun and very sweet instructor. I usually have a difficult time getting my son interested in most things. However, he loved his first singing lesson, and can't wait to go back. Thank you Suzanne!

Suzanne is definitely an amazing teacher. She always works with you and doesn't leave you hanging. She pushes you but not to much that you get uncomfortable. She's great! Definitely would recommend her to others.
I'm very passionate about the benefits of piano lessons and do my best to make it fun and exciting and rewarding. You will learn on my digital piano with weekly lessons and expectation of you practicing every day for at least 20 minutes. Points are given for your accomplishments with prizes for all at the end of the month. Holiday and fun music is learned along with Two recitals a year should you choose to participate. Expression and enthusiasm, and building confidence is what I'm all about. I'm friendly and outgoing, and allow flexibility in my schedule to reschedule lessons if we must.
So come and let your light shine with me!

My daughter has been taking lessons for 9 months and just did a 4 page duet with Mrs. 'G " at a recital. She is very energetic; she encourages and gives awards which the young kids respond to; sometimes her cat comes to listen. No pressure and the kids can pick some of the advance books of songs they like. We go in person but she is now open to Face Time lessons. She is also very flexible for sick days; snow days, and the typical crazy kid activity schedule. If you like personal, friendly postitive energy...Mrs. "G" is your teacher!

My Grandaughter, Lydia, is 8 years old and has been taking lessons from Mrs. "G"
since last September. Immediately, Lydia, felt welcome and comfortable. She has been in two recitals, and was in the Talent show at her school. We are all amazed at her proficiency at this early stage of learning. Her confidence in performing before an audience is all due to the way Mrs. "G" teaches. She makes the lessons fun and rewarding. I would recommend Brenda Ginther to any children interested in piano lessons. She is a joy to be with and Lydia loves her.
