My son loves his drum lessons! Russell is very caring and patient teacher, just as this post stated, he also knows how to make lessons fun. My son is not a very confident type of a kid and Russell really helped to set everything at ease during first lessons he is very supportive. We also appreciate the flexibility - since our schedule is crazy and we often had to reschedule. Of course the greatest part is when he drums along with the kid at the end of the class - you' d be taking videos of that groovy stuff every time, trust me. This sure is noisy, but so much fun!

Clayton is a lovely person and a great teacher. He always shows up on time if not early and communicates right away if there is a change in the schedule which is rare. He is great with children, very patient and kind with a fun upbeat attitude. I definitely recommend him.
Charlie P. Charlotte, NC

About Charlie

I have been passing on what I've learned in my own studies, personal and privately taught, to help new students get the strong foundations for becoming the best musician they can be. I've been playing since age 6 (now 44) and performing since 18. I started with Classical guitar, then Rock and Jazz. In all my years of study, I've learned how to teach and how NOT to teach. I have had many years of private lessons. I've written, recorded and performed for over 20 years. My wife and I even do voice over work on occasion. *** Lesson Details *** Students have become friends and I've seen many go on to become performers, songwriters and teachers. I also use a wide range of materials when teaching like DVDs, CDs, and computer 'play along' tracks. I love teaching, seeing people smile and ...

Awesome

Charlie is not only a great teacher, but a great guy. he is fun and easy to be around, creating a relaxing environment for learning. Everything i know how to do on bass was made possible by Charlie. He is slow with the process and makes sure not to rush you and makes sure you understand 100% of the material before moving on. He is simply awesome.

It is easy to recommend Sue to anyone as she is a fantastic music instructor. She makes learning seem easy, which is the hallmark of a great teacher. You will find her to be extremely friendly and approachable so you never fear making mistakes or asking any questions; her patience is unwavering.

One particularly great thing about Ms. Sue D.'s teaching method is her flexibility with learning material. She took time to review method books I had from a previous teacher, picking songs and exercises she felt would supplement lessons from the books we normally use.

I have found my lessons to be both enjoyable and extremely informative. When we are reviewing the material from the previous week at the beginning of a new lesson I always have the feeling I've made real progression on the instrument.

perfect Cello teacher

Just love the way how Sue makes my 8 year old pay attention to cello techniques without annoying her. The pieces of music she chooses are always perfect, either for my daughter's skills and for her fun. Sue manages to teach music theory right along the way and it is amazing, how much improvement can be realized in my daughter's abilities just after a few lessons with Sue. Thank you, Sue!

best piano teacher ever

Sue is the most wonderful piano teacher ever! Always challenging, but never overburdening my ten year old daughter. In addition to piano techniques Sue teaches a lot of music theory, too. And she does this in a way that my daughter never is bored. Sue creates a lesson atmosphere, that is very relaxing and fun, but still purposeful and my daughter is looking forward to every single lesson. Just love Sue.
