I've had the unique experience of relearning how to become a musician after being away from it for several years. I joined the Air Force after high school and decided to pick up my Trombone to pursure my love of music once I got out. After a lot of time and effort I can happily say I now attend ASU where I play both Bass and tenor trombone. I have playing experience in both jazz and classical. I hope to share my experience and to provide an avenue to become a better musician.
Hello! I love helping students reach their goals first and foremost. Ive played in a wide range of musical styles but feel most comfortable in Jazz and classical. I studied at ASU in Music Education and hope to go back to recieve my masters in performance. In the meantime, I hope I can help stud

From complete beginners to more intermediate players all lessons are personalized with your goals in mind. Let me share some of the joy I have found in these compact and portable instruments. Blues harp is where my strengths lie but I will happily work with you towards any style you please. If you are brand new to playing we will start with how to hold the instrument and how breathe into it. A little hint that some people don't realize up front is you play breathing in and out. We will work on some chugging and maybe get to isolating single notes. For more advanced students we can start with a new song that you have picked out or I can recommend one to you. Don't forget to pick out a decent harmonica. If its under $30 it is probably more of a toy than an instrument. Key of C recommended but I can work with what you have.
My students have described me as patient and engaging. It is important to me that you have fun on your journey towards mastery. That doesn't mean it will be easy. Improvement requires consistent effort over time. Let me show you some of the tools that have helped me in my efforts, and help you avoi

(Drum lessons available from in-home only). Drums were my first love, and I always get a special kind of feeling when I play them. I look forward to sharing this feeling with my students, because it really is a lot of fun. Since I've played my whole life, I've spanned a lot of genres. I can teach you subtle finesse, relentless fury, and when to use what.
Having played music for as long as I can remember (my father is an accomplished Jazz and Soul drummer), music has always been a key ingredient in my life. From playing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme on the drum set as a toddler, I have gone on to learn electric/classical/lap steel guitar, e
I look forward to my weekly guitar lessons with Chaetan because he is a very knowledgeable, relaxed, and patient teacher. He tailors my lessons to meet my personal goals (learning those pinnacle acoustic songs). But as an exceptional instructor, he also guides me to meet goals he has for me as a student, such as learning to build chords on my own. The quality of his instruction has already increased my progress on the instrument. Overall, his talent and interest in music motivate me to practice so I am fortunate to have found Chaetan as my guitar teacher.
Chaetan is a very friendly instructor who tailors his lessons to meet both the experience level and type of music a student is interested in. Chaetan has a lot of energy and makes the lessons fun. He appears to know every aspect of what he is teaching as well as plays other instruments. My daughter and I are both very happy with Chaetan.

I am a complete beginner to singing and she was very respectful and understanding of this. I typically would make a lot of self deprecating jokes because of how nervous I was, but she would reassure me and continue to train me.
I had to stop taking lessons because I moved away but I would absolutely recommend her to anyone."
I've learned everything from Bach to AC/DC, from The Beatles to Rush. David encourages me that I'm improving, but also pushes me to continue to improve.
I am learning a lot under his tutelage, and I am going to keep learning as much as I can."
