My name is Katya. I've been teaching Spanish, English and Russian (as a Foreign Language) to adults and children for many years. I am a native Russian speaker, a classical pianist, singer and professional educator. I received my degree in piano performance and pedagogy in 1992, and have been teaching since then. I have lived (and taught) all over the world, and I love what I do.

I tailor my lessons to the needs and interests of my learners. Lessons will be interactive, fun, non-intimidating, accommodating, and goal-oriented. Learners will progress in each lesson and will be introduced a good balance of structural and focused lessons, as well as lessons that will cater to their educational objectives and passions. I believe that all students can thrive at any subject they set their mind to and that each pupil learns at a different pace, so it is essential that instructors emphasize each learner's individuality in the various lessons offered.
