Lessons are always designed to be educational, engaging & fun, combining a balance of learning notation, playing by ear & performance with other live instruments! We will find out what interests you most and get you on the drum set right away for fast results!

I'm a full time touring musician, I studied music in school for 8 years, but I can honestly say I've learned more about music through my years as a touring musician. I find great joy in sharing all the things I've learned over the years.

I like getting to know my students; their expectations and goals as an aspiring drummer, and I build my curriculum around their needs.

Drum lessons are unique with me because of my background with all percussion makes lessons flexible and fun. I tailor my lessons to the students wants and desires while also building their technical skill in all areas of percussion so they can play everything while excelling at what they enjoy the most. This makes a very fun and educational experience.

Experienced drummer with 13 years of experience, performing in multiple bands genres ranging from Rock, Blues, Jazz, Punk, Country, and more.

I began learning drums through Rock Band, yes.. I said a video game. After a month or two I was playing songs on hard or expert difficulty and I soon began applying the rhythms and rudiments I was learning in Rock Band to a real drum set. I began playing drums every day. I played in a few different bands in my teen years, recorded in studios and currently I accompany musicians around San Diego regularly.
