Lessons with Al are always a high point of my week. Learning guitar as an adult is challenging, and he is unfailingly encouraging and motivational. His teaching method - a mix of music theory, exercises, improvisation, and practicing songs - keeps things fresh and challenging every week, and has helped me become better at productive practicing outside of each session. Al is also willing to jump down the rabbit hole with me when I bring him something I can’t figure out on my own. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a wonderful teacher.

Al is incredibly passionate about passing his expertise to the next generation. My son studied drum set with him for 3 years, and is now a jazz studies major in college. The enthusiasm and knowledge he will impart on your student is invaluable. Highly recommended!

I'm an adult piano student of Amber's at the beginners level. I started taking lessons in September 2020 and am making steady progress under her instruction. She is very patient and encouraging and has helped me to build confidence as a piano student. I'm enjoying my lessons with Amber and would definitely recommend her to others looking for a piano teacher.

Amber was patient and nice. Her class was very boring for my 6 year old. He lost interest almost immediately but seemed to be very enthusiastic with others when he works on piano.

I wrote a review before, when I had just started having singing lessons with Erin but it’s been more than three years, so it’s time for an update. ;)
I really enjoy my lessons with Erin and I notice a great difference in my vocal range and technique from when I first started having lessons with her. She’s patient and supportive, and she always has great suggestions for new songs to learn. I’m really building up a repertoire. :)
Erin offers for her students to participate in studio recitals twice a year and I feel like I‘ve also improved my performance skills (stage fright is real for me but I’m slowly becoming more confident singing in front of others).
We had to move the lessons and recitals online during the pandemic and that worked out really well too.

I really recommend lessons with Erin, you will learn a lot and you‘ll have fun doing so!
Robin
A great first lesson. Erin is patient and understanding. I look forward to our next session.
