am private music teacher specializing in stringed instruments. I teach and play violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, ukulele and piano. Josh has been playing and performing music for over 13 years. He has achieved a bachelor's degree in instrumental music education and has experience as an instructor teaching private students and group classes for over 7 years. He has studied instrumental music education including areas of classical music, jazz, theory, history, and improvisation.

I have taught music for 10 years and believe students should get to play what they want to play! Students are asked to come up with a list of songs and/or artists they would love to play. Through teaching chords, note reading and theory, the song possibilities are endless! I also can help the aspiring singer/mandolin player to be able to both play and sing simultaneously.

I have over 30 years experience as a music teacher. Although guitar is my main instrument, I play several stringed instruments, including mandolin, well enough to teach beginners of ALL ages - children, teens, and adults. I have played mandolin with bluegrass bands, in the past.
Mandolin is a good first instrument for those who have never played a stringed instrument before, and for young children whose hands are not strong enough to play a larger instrument such as a guitar. It is fairly easy to learn, and fun to play.

I've been playing mandolin for 9 years. I began my studies with Sharon Gilchrist, a former member of the Dixie Chicks! I teach folk, classical, bluegrass, jazz, blues, pretty much anything your heart desires! Feel free to bring me material that you really want to learn. I offer an open space for my students to explore whatever they like.

Mandolin lessons for people who want to learn classical music, bluegrass, folk or jazz. This instrument is so versatile there are so many types of music one can play. Students learn how to read charts, improvise, comp with chords as well as take lead solos.
