About Charles
I am an international recording artist and seasoned performer. I have been playing music since the early age of 8 yrs old. I have always been inspired by music and love to inspire others with music. Some of my accomplishments include putting an album out with Universal Records as a Nashville recording artist, having over 7 albums out internationally, and recording and playing with some of the biggest names in the music industry. I am a classically trained musician as well as an innovative and experienced teacher. I have been teaching for over 15 years and have seen many of my students go on to become top-notch performers themselves while pursuing successful careers in music. In addition to being a private music teacher, I have also taught at many schools in the valley including the Center for Educational Excellence School, Grand Canyon Pr
eparatory private charter school and the Arizona Music Academy. I teach all levels of guitar, bass, and drums and tailor every lesson to the individual student’s needs and personality. My annual recitals are live-performance concerts featuring bands and other performing groups formed from among my students along with solo performances. My students also perform regularly throughout the community and are successful in their musical endeavors at all ages. I teach a wide range of genres and styles from classical music, blues, jazz and rock to heavy metal with an emphasis on becoming A-Level lead guitar soloists and song writers. I teach songwriting skills, music theory, and have even helped many of my guitar students be able to sing better while learning their main instrument.

*** Lesson Details ***
I make my lessons fun and informative and have had many students stay with me for up to 7 years. I show you everything you will ever need to know about music theory but in a very useful applicable way. I teach popular songs from any artist and classics that have stood the test of time and show you how to become a great song writer of your own giving you an insider’s knowledge about how to perform and have the audience standing asking for more. No matter if you want to become a pro lead guitar player or just play to have fun I can show you how to sing and play the guitar or piano at the same time or singing songs from church as well as your favorite rock or pop songs with confidence.

*** Travel Equipment ***
Just my own guitar and amp they need their own equipment.

*** Specialties ***
Classical, flamenco, rock, heavy metal guitar. I have also developed new classical guitar techniques that I call the "trem" stroke and the "harpeggio"

I am a professional cellist with years of experience playing and teaching the cello. It is one of my main instrument specialties, and I have had many students over the past 5+ who have shown improvement.

About Tristan
I am a professional orchestra conductor, cellist, guitarist, and educator. I conduct student orchestras in New York City, and throughout Fairfield County, CT.

I have taught many students over the past 5+ years, all of whom have improved, have developed confidence on their instrument, and improved immensely in every possible way.

I am highly organized and attentive, and strive to create a personalized curriculum for each one of my students. I am entirely student focused and do not teach from a template. Every single person requires a slightly different approach.

My main goal as a private teacher is to inspire. My job is not simply to make my students improve. It is to get them to develop the interest and the desire to practice and explore on their own motivation. That is my greatest focus as a teacher.

I am a string specialist. That means I teach and play violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, ukulele and piano. I earned B.A. earned from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley Colorado where I was a double major in classical guitar and double bass. In my senior year I was the recipient of the Annual Concerto Contest where I performed the "Concerto in A Major" on double bass with the University orchestra for the spring concert. I have played in both professional and semi-professional orchestras in Colorado and Arizona. I believe that any student will practice more if he or she likes the music they are playing. Periodically I will ask a student to give me a name of a piece of music that they would like to learn how to play. I notate it for them, often simplifying the rhythm and chords in Finale NotePad and give it to them free of charge. I teach students how to play music on their given instrument. In my opinion, having been an educator in the Isaac School District for many years, Mr. Quintana exhibits excellent teaching techniques and strategies to enable the learner to be successful. He is professional, prepared, courteous, and prompt. For the past 6 years, Mr.Quintana has been my cello instructor. The environment that he creates as an educator provides an excellent foundation for continued learning. Mr. Quintana's knowledge of string instruments and piano are superb.

Victor is a great instructor and a great person. He is wonderful with my young son, who was an absolute beginner when he started lesson with Victor at age 8. My son has a learning disability that makes it harder for him to read music and process instructions. Victor worked with all of that with patience and respect. Now my son can play beautiful songs and perform in front of others. I believe that learning music has also helped my son become better at reading, math, and thinking! Most of all, he feels successful about his guitar skills, which adds to his confidence. I cannot thank Victor enough!

I played the cello throughout high school and college. I use the same principles to teach the cello that I do the violin. We focus on correct technique and characteristic sound while developing musicality and a well rounded music education.

About Brianna
I graduated from the University of Idaho in May 2014. I earned my degree in Instrumental Music Education and have been teaching privately for since 2008. My main instrument is violin, and I am qualified to teach viola, and cello. Before moving to Arizona, I taught many violin students through my own private studio and through the University of Idaho Preparatory Division. My students ranged from ages 3 to 50. I have taught private instrumental lessons to grades 2-8 at a private school and I currently work as a full time 5th grade classroom teacher at a Great Hearts school. I also run the instrumental music program at the same school for grades 6-12. I continued their intermediate orchestra program and started the beginning orchestra program in the 2015-2016 school year. In the 2016-2017 school year, I piloted a successful beginning instrum
ents club. The majority of my experience is with students age 3 through 9th grade.

I primarily teach lessons in the Gilbert area where I teach full time. I also accept lessons in Tempe and Mesa. Students outside of this area are welcome to travel to my house in Tempe. My travel availability is limited, but my home studio availability is far more flexible.

Taking cello lessons from Susan has been a wonderful experience for my child, and it has been lovely for me to associate with her. Susan has passion, warmth, and many years of experience. Initially, it can be a bit overwhelming (especially as a parent with little musical experience) to take in all that Susan will throw at you, but soon you will see the benefits of her broad range of knowledge and the holistic education she offers. She covers the many facets of playing cello, including rhythm, reading music, theory, group practices, careful attention to bow hold, tone production, performance, ensemble playing and listening. She is consistent and reliable. My child looks forward to Susan’s lessons each week and has commented, “Susan always finds something good, then gives me ideas on how to make it better.” She puts a lot of time, resources, and creativity into enriching activities that motivate kids to stay engaged and practice regularly. We highly recommend her!

Hello, I am Ariel Londono. I am cellist from Colombia. I speak English and Spanish fluently. I have a master degree on Chamber Music Performance from Kent State University and a Master degree in Cello performance from Ohio University. I have ten years experience teaching cello. I have experience teaching children and elder people as well. I like to focus in a correct and organic technique in order to achieve very clean and musical performances from my students, also to prevent injuries. I am also very interested in popular music and I am willing to adapt my teaching style to your needs and likes.

About Ariel
Hello there! When it comes to teaching Cello, the most important thing in my opinion is giving the students all the tools they need to gain confidence when practicing on their own. Good practicing habits and clear technical concepts are the keystone for learning cello in an efficient and friendly way. You will save time and money. Every person is different and so every student will learn in a different way. One of the most relevant goals I aim at when I am teaching cello is getting to understand the student and adapting myself to find the best way to teach that particular person.

I have studied cello privately for 3 years.
My philosophy derives not only from the specifics of learning an

Kim Busic is a violinist, violist, cellist, and educator from Libertyville, Illinois. She holds a BM in Music Performance, cum laude, from Butler University.
