I've been teaching piano for over 10 years and my students have gone on to play professionally, become teachers themselves, and develop a love of music. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to play fun simple songs at the piano. and as time goes on you'll be able to read musical notation, understand basic music theory, and play classical or contemporary pieces. I typically use Bastein, Alfred, or Faber method books depending on the students age and ability . I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

My dance lessons are guided dance movement explorations. I will not be teaching a specific style or technique. I will be helping you to become present and attuned to your own physical self so your body can show you how it wants to be moved. This can be a deeply personal experience and from my own journey of learning how to move this way, I can say its been incredibly rewarding, healing and life-affirming.
These dance lessons are available for all levels (no previous dance experience needed), all abilities, and most ages (12+).
Class structure will begin with a warm-up, a dance movement exploration, a cool down, and a reflection period.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Proper piano posture: the words alone are enough to make any pianist wince, straighten up, and make every effort to maintain it, at least for a few minutes. You may not realize that when you’re playing the piano, your posture is a key factor in your technique and whether or not you feel at ease practicing the instrument. Because practicing is a repetitive activity, it’s important to do it well. Otherwise, you risk reinforcing bad habits through repetition. If you struggle with ma …
