Whether you want to play bass guitar on stage like a rock star or get funky like Bootsy Collins, I got you covered. I have over 10 years performing experience and 4 years of teaching students in various genres/styles of music. What makes my lesson style unique is that I ensure all of my students regardless of age or playing level are performance ready. You ask what is "performance ready?" This means as a student you will not only learn how to play your instrument well, but in addition will be taught how to operate your instrument, amps, and effect pedals. Your knowledge of sound and tone quality is essential to your success as musician. In turn, this allows you to properly convey your message as an artist to your audience. When it come to lessons, I customize my lesson plans according to the students goals. My goal as an instructor is to ensure that my students leave each lesson feeling accomplished, motivated, and that they've had fun in the process.

Greg is a great men also a great teacher, when i first meet with Greg for my first lesson that i known i will be learning by the great teacher.
I had played guitar in the past many, many years but for sometime in my life was so busy working, and focus on raising family but i had to put away my guitar i bought 25 years ago. finally, now i decided to learn to play my guitar again and find Greg on take lesson.com and he has been teaching me just like i am a beginner playing but i am now so happy that i am on a good hand and Greg had been teaching me playing my guitar again. so far so good. Thanks Gregory

I took lessons from Greg when I was much younger say 12-13 for a year or more. He taught me a lot and had me playing guitar really fast, I always tried to do what he asked and he never ever got frustrated if I did it wrong or couldn't play what we were learning right away correctly!. Also all of what he taught me stayed in my head all these years some how and I kinda progressively got better and better!. I'm pretty happy with my playing and a lot of others are to!. Greg has something special about his students and teaching them to play the guitar correctly no matter what or how long it takes, he cares about you as a student. You get out what you put in ,but be patient cause it also takes time. But you'll see the difference later down the road that Greg was the right teacher for learning to play and the theory behind the guitar.....I recommend him as a great guitar teacher!. I myself take lessons from him again at the age of 38 , I was able to find him on Facebook after all these years and we do lessons via Skype, I'm a very happy student, very happy!. And I thank Greg Gladman for that!.

Dillon is a first rate guitar instructor!

I've taken lessons with Dillon for 5 months, and he has helped me make tremendous progress. I was lucky to find Dillon because my music interests are all over the place. I wanted to learn about fingerstyle, soul, jazz, blues, Latin music, music theory, transcribing for bands. Dillon helped me with all of those. He's the kind of person whose has really studied the guitar and can distill the music from many styles into a few simple ideas for the guitar, and explain those ideas in a memorable way.

I'll continue taking lessons from him, and would recommend him as a teacher to anyone looking for a teacher with charisma.

Dillon is an absolutely amazing teacher. I just started playing the piano a few months ago and he has been instrumental in motivating me and giving me the tools I need to get started. He is always willing to switch it up each lesson depending on how I am feeling that week and I really enjoy working with him. Dillon is extremely talented and dedicated to music which is really great, because starting out can be hard. I would highly recommend Dillon to anyone!

Dillon- was not reliable. He no-showed twice and his phone was not active. Not a good start for beginner student!

Bass guitar is so much fun when you can learn to be free with it! Although some may feel it is slow and steady, it doesn’t have to be. I can quickly teach scales that will allow you to join any group or play along any song while adding your own soulful expression...

About Lael

Began playing bass at the age of 10, then learned acoustic and electric guitar, and have been playing ever since. Growing up in Colorado, I love everything from folk to funk and can enjoy playing alone or along with friends.

"Greg is very dynamic and a really fun teacher. He understands how to read our son’s musical ability and gear the lesson to him. He instructs and plays music with our son during lessons in a manner that seems very effective, and our son comes home after his lesson wanting to play more and wanting to practice to be able to play cool stuff with Greg in the next lesson. Our son definitely feels challenged every lesson. We feel very fortunate to have found Greg and look forward years of lessons to come, as playing music with Greg is one of our sons favorite things."

"So far, so good. After only 5 weeks I'm already playing along to a couple of recordings of songs I like. I have lots of musical experience, but never picked up a bass guitar before this past January. I'm really enjoying the lessons. David is a great teacher and I expect to be around for a long time."

"Jeff is the Man!

I took lessons from Jeff on and off for about 15yrs. I started off on the bass and then tried learning some guitar. I really had a great time learning how to play the bass from Jeff, he makes it really fun and relevant to your needs. Some days, I really wanted to learn a song I heard on the radio or from a favorite band, and he was instantly able to teach it to me. Jeff is a great guy and really knows how to teach guitar. I would definitely recommend taking lessons from Jeff. He will go at your pace, and you will have a blast learning how to play the guitar!"

"Jonathan taught me when I was around middle school age and has left a lasting impression on how I approach the bass and music 10-ish years later. Under his tutelage I learned music theory, techniques, and all sorts of different genres and styles.

His lessons were always very professional. I always felt challenged, but not overwhelmed, by the material being taught. He also made it easy to be interested in the lessons; he would always ask if there's any song or genre that I wanted to learn and that sort of thing.

Overall, definitely a 5/5 top shelf educator and musician."

"I have been studying bass playing techniques and music theory with Rob for several months now. Short story: he's great.

Rob's lesson format is pretty open. If you have specific questions/goals, Rob makes sure that they are addressed. He's been able to give me some great information on various techniques and styles, and I've picked up a good bit of general practical bass knowledge this way.

Rob is VERY knowledgeable about music theory, and its evolution over the centuries. That being said, discussions on music theory are always made relevant to bass playing. This makes learning the theory and patterns very practical, and for me, more approachable.

Thanks Rob!"
