Frankie helped me with my clarinet tone within the first 15 minutes of the first lesson, and gave me many more helpful playing tips throughout the hour. He was really interested in what my goals were. Looking forward to many more lessons with Frankie.

I am a teacher who tries to remain flexible so that the student can attain skills that serve their own unique playing. In the early stages of my time with a student there will be quite a bit of structure to ensure that all of the bases are covered before the student can start experimenting with creating an individual voice. Personally, I am a high-energy and enthusiastic teacher who truly believes that every student has the potential to realize their goals.

I think the flute can produce such beautiful and colorful sounds and is a tool for great expression. Therefore, in lessons, covering all the basics of proper tone production, breath support, vibrato, musicality and technique will ensure a solid foundation with which even the highest levels of success can be built upon. I teach these concepts through the use of various exercises, etude/method books, as well as duet books which are incredibly essential for musical development and are also fun!

About Bill

Bill is multi-instrumentalist, jazz musician, composer, arranger and educator. He developed a strong connection to music early in life through some family tradition, encouraging parents and many inspiring and influential teachers. "Victoria is a fantastic teacher. I am an adult who picked up the flute some years ago. This year I decided to be disciplined and seek out a teacher. I started to see a difference in my ability immediately. After around 6 months I can say that I am further along than I ever thought I would be. She's respectful and a lot of fun. Sign up and go see her already!!"

"Heidi is a very experienced teacher. She can tell how my daughter make mistakes and correct her right on the spot. She also makes her classes very interesting. She was very nice and patient. My daughter likes her classes a lot. She has her own way of pushing my daughter to practice more without her feeling too much pressure. Good job, Heidi."

"Heidi is an incredible teacher for many reasons. I have been very remiss in writing this much deserved review for her. Heidi connected with our 9-yr-old on an amazing level. She worked with us in every way she could to accommodate for our 15-hour time difference every time we were in China and then happily changed to the 2-hour time difference while we were at home in the states. Heidi's love for music oozes out her. She is extremely talented and lovely to work with."
