Sheryl W.

Appleton, WI

About Sheryl

I am a 2008 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran College. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with emphasis on Instrumental Music Instruction. During lessons, we learn music theory, a little bit of mu
sic history, and try to have fun along the way.
My husband and I are both instrumentalists and enjoy playing our instruments any chance we can get (outside of our hourly jobs of course). We have two small boys ages 3 and 1 and they are a joy to be around.
My goal is to teach the love of music to others so that they can enjoy all aspects of what music has to offer them in their lives!

About Angie

Angie Danowski has a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Music with an emphasis in voice from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay.

Angie Danowski has been teaching private voice and theory lessons since
September 2015 in which she taught students aged 9 to 15 at Birder Studio of the Performing Arts in De Pere, WI. She specializes in teaching American folk song, classical art song, including French, German, English, and Italian, and musical theatre.

Ms. Danowski is currently available to teach lessons at her home or her students’ homes. “I love seeing a new technique really click with a student, and it is amazing to see how they blossom from the time they begin lessons with me to when they finish. Being a singer is a journey in which we can always learn something new, no matter what level you are at. I learn just as much, if not more, from my students as they do from me,” she says.

Angie was my student when she was in college studying music. I have not taken a lesson with Angie, so my star rating pertains to my opinion of her potential. She has a welcoming and supportive personality. Her students like her very much and experience a positive and encouraging environment. In my line of work, I receive inquiries about voice lessons all the time, and I regularly refer people to Angie. Give lessons with Angie a try!

Alysha B.

Green Bay, WI

About Alysha

I am a passionate educator, no matter what subject I happen to find myself teaching. There is nothing quite so rewarding as the dawning comprehension of a new skill on a child's face, or their look of
triumph after a great accomplishment.

My goal in life is simply to follow that passion - to teach. I particularly enjoy teaching music, with flute being my area of expertise. I hope that my students find music as infectiously wonderful as I do, and perhaps even one day share their passions with their own students.
