Jill is a wonderful teacher. She is patient and creative in teaching, good at communicating her musical ideas with children. My son progressed a lot under her instruction. We really hate to say goodbye to her because we have to leave America. Her classes are part of our best memories here.

Garine A. Winter Garden, FL

I started to play this instrument for fun, but now it attracts a different crowd at my shows. I mix it in with my guitar playing. It's a very fun instrument to learn.

About Garine

I am a music educator. I received my Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Central Florida in 2011. My higher education started in the Fall of 2006 when I began attending Daytona Beach Community College. My two years there were spent fully engaged in all activities. I finished my GED requirements while participating in many ensembles like the Ormond Beach Symphony Orchestra, Daytona Beach Community College Concert Band, Brass Ensemble, Falcon Pans (steel drum ensemble), Pit Orchestra for musicals, and Choir. All of these ensembles helped me increase my awareness of many different teaching and directing styles. I enjoyed participating in the college’s annual Medieval Yuletide Feast while playing the trombone, tuba, and singing in the choir. These experiences augmented my ...

Great personality and very upbeat. Could use a little more structure and I maybe a book for the new students. Probably very good with students that have some experience already and can improvise.

With New York City only a short bus ride away, he spent as much time as possible in the city, studying guitar with Russian born Classical Guitarist, Dr. Alexander Bellow, and Jazz Legend "Bucky" Pizzarelli. During this time he attended recitals of such notables as Andre Segovia, Julian Bream and John Williams. Being immersed in this musical scene inspired him to make music his life. Eric earned a degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford, where he studied under the direction of guitar pedagogue, ...

I've had a great experience as Eric's student. He is highly knowledgeable as a guitar teacher and I have loved learning classical technique from him. And I'm kind of picky, since I already have a degree in music and am also a music teacher! He has really helped me broaden my skills as a guitarist and I can highly recommend him as a teacher for all kinds of guitar styles.

Eric is a very good teacher. I have no experience in music at all and his instruction offered a nice mix of basic music knowledge and uke specific teaching. In a short time he showed me a variety of playing techniques for the uke that gives me a lot to strive for while offering exercises and instruction for me to work on that will help me steadily improve.

Damien's love of music fortifies his abilities to share what is possible in his students' achievements; me included! For over a year I have pursued learning banjo, which Damien's encouragement through patient teaching, has fulfilled my goal of being comfortable with this difficult instrument. Thank you, Damien, for believing anyone can try to learn something new, even at seventy-two!
