I have been teaching singing for 2 years so far, and have been singing professionally for the last 15 years. I find great joy in passing on correct technique, good habits, and confidence for the most successful development of your singing voice! My goal is to help my students free their own unique singing voice at their own pace, and in the healthiest ways possible. We work on not only singing the songs, but presenting/performing them. I specialize in Broadway and Pop styles. I provide all sheet music and mp3 digital/CD instrumental recordings to use at home and in lessons. I am so excited to help you build your beautiful voice!
Hi! I'm Adina S. I am very excited to help you achieve your singing goals, whether they be big or small! My main objective as your teacher is to help you find your personal singing voice, and use it to your greatest potential.
I have a good mixture of formal education and work experience. This makes it easy for me to pass on the healthy techniques and also be current on what to expect in an audition or creating a successful performance. I attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy with focus on Musical Theatre. I also studied at Glendale College and performed in their choir and jaz
z ensemble. I have received 10 years of private voice instruction with many wonderful teachers hailing from USIU, UCLA, and Pepperdine University. I have been a professional singer and musical theatre performer for 14 years, and have performed all over southern California. I recently have started musically directing for high school shows and also the youth choir at my church. I will continue part time in performance, but now wish to share my knowledge, skills, and the joy of singing with others!
*** Lesson Details *** All my lessons start with warming up the voice using scales and breathing exercises. We will also spend time to focus on new healthy singing habits. We will learn the basic fundamentals of reading music - applied to the songs we have picked to sing. We will pick at least 2 songs to be working on at all times. I always allow my students to pick their songs. Singing what you love always pays off. I will provide handouts and journal pages for your at home practice, so bringing a folder/binder of some sort is encouraged. I am fairly laid back about the journals, but it helps us to stay on the same page at all times.
*** Studio Equipment *** Yamaha electric piano, ability to play CD and mp3 players, recording ability.
*** Specialties *** Broadway, Breathing, Vocal Performance, acting a song.

My daughter enjoys her lessons with Adina, she has been attending them for a couple of months now and I can really see/hear an improvement. Not only has her skill set improved but she has gained more confidence in her abilities.

Adina is a gem. She has a magical Disney princess voice and the soul of a wise, experienced teacher. I am the Director of Music, pianist and organist at our church. Adina has been cantoring at least one mass weekly for a few years now. She is a quick study and very easy to work with. She also cantors most of our funerals and weddings. She has worked wonders one-on-one with many of our young cantors. It seems she knows exactly 'what' to say and 'when' to get the best from our young singers. I always hear immediate improvement after she works with them, even for a short time. One of our parishioners is even sponsoring a young cantor so she can take voice lessons with Adina.

With both a background in Classical Voice and Commercial Performance, Francesca strikes the a healthy balance for Broadway singers hoping to sustain strong voices for decades to come.
Alumnae of CSULAs music department with an emphasis in classical voice and guitar, Francesca's skills cover a vast ocean of information. With a background and formal education in opera and "the classics", Francesca is equally comfortable on stage at The House of Blues as she is at Disney Hall.
Francesca started teaching music at the early age of 16 with great success. She has honed her skills both in the private studio and in the classroom. Having served as musical faculty the California Music Academy, Cornelia Connelly High School, Pasadena Saturday Music Conservatory, and East Los Ange
les College, having led choirs of 70+ high school girls and sung before sold out audiences of thousands of screaming fans, having toured 4 continents singing both classical repertoire and performing in commercial rock bands, having sung for presidents and princes, Francesca has high expectations and is skilled in helping her students reach their goals.
Now performing in the Donald Brinager Singers, a studio choir for-hire, Francesca can often be seen performing with orchestras throughout Southern California. While mentoring through her award-winning teaching studio, Francesca also manages to perform several showcases featuring her original music with her amazing back-up ensemble.
With a constant effort to maintain a professional studio learning environment and with a focus on reading skills and solid technique, Francesca's students enjoy lessons packed with information and light-heartedness. The one on one experience you will have the moment you walk thru the door promises to be unmatched. Francesca's students can be seen on major television networks, radio stations and performing around town in various projects. A Note From Francesca:
My official bio is listed below, but perhaps more important than the things I have done are the things that I am doing. I am now approaching my 15th year of teaching. I love to teach! I carry a minimum of 30 students, but have carried more then 80 at one time, and have never once complained. My waiting list cycles based on my performance schedule and recording schedule. If you don't see a time that works for you, feel free to reach out and see if we can find something that works, as an artist, my schedule can be quite full but also quite flexible. I love my students, I get to do what I love all day and I am sure it shows. I have a blast discovering new ways to experience music with "my kids." I call all of my students kids even though most of my studio consists of young adults. I try to have a young air in my classes at all times as it just makes the process so much more fun for everyone.
I've seen it all in through years: kids, adults, beginners and advanced students. I am personally very interested in being the most versatile musician possible and I love being able to share my knowledge with my students. We can study anything and everything from Classical Guitar to Electric Guitar Shredding; from Opera to Kelly Clarkson; from Tchaikovsky to Little Richard! I love getting students to dabble in little bits of all genres, often getting even the most skeptical student singing and playing comfortably in a matter of just a few weeks. My students will be able to read music for their favorite tunes and understand how to improvise from the start. Once you come in, you'll be hooked. You will have fun because I am having fun!
I encourage all of my students to share their favorite music with me. It affords me the opportunity to learn more about what they desire to learn and what types of music they enjoy. We will learn with your music often. After all, isn't that why you are coming to see me? I will introduce you to new sounds and styles, but will foster your love for music, and do my best to never force my music on students. I feel I learn as much from my students when I truly listen to them and their music as they do from me.
On site lessons are available for artists recording demos, rehearsing bands and setting up their own studios.
On a side note, I love seeing students at my shows! I am a full time musician and can be seen playing with my band, in my own solo project and in various choral settings. Check out my website and see what I do outside of the classroom. My students get a kick out of the idea that they can buy a CD with their teachers face on it, and to be honest, so do I. Many of my students have their own music out on iTunes and YouTube. Many more can be seen performing around town in solo projects and professional ensembles.
*** Studio Equipment *** Pianos, Guitars, Basses, Amps, Computer, Monitors, Music, Recording Software, Drum Kit, Studio and Performance Mics, everything we need! Its like Disneyland for musicians!

*** Specialties *** Francesca on Artist Development:
I feel obligated to share my joys and experiences-
Not many people have been blessed to sing alongside as many renowned musicians as I have - I've been lucky to be welcomed in both the commercial and classical worlds and they have both afforded me venues to use my voice and express the most vital corners of my soul. To find your purpose through art is one of the greatest gifts you can receive. And to be able to do that in front of thousands of music lovers live or over the airwaves is a surreal experience.
It's funny, my classical cronies are impressed to hear my stories of packed rock gigs at the House Blues and national touring festivals like Warped Tour and my rock buddies ask to hear my stories of Disney Hall performances with the LA Phil. To be honest, Iâ'm impressed to be there too. Sometimes, I look around and think, how did I get here? How did I get lucky enough to live the dream, to find a home in music?
I've been luckier than most. I've had GREAT mentors who have always pushed me forward and shared their wisdom freely with me. Part of the classical musician's central goal is to educate. That's a value I carry into my rock projects and production studio. Work smarter, not harder. Take the needed skills, create art, teach others how to do the same thing, move forward together to live happier, more productive lives filled with purpose.
I have come to be known as one of the top Musical Mentors & Artist Development Experts on the west coast. A behind the scenes- diva of dream building with the skills to push artists to the next level- the ace up the sleeve of many of today working talents. In my award winning studio, I spend time coaching the young voices and faces of today hottest TV shows seen on ABC, Nickelodeon, and the Disney Channel, but I still have a soft spot for up and comers in the indie music world. Having written and performed my own music for decades, I not only lived the collegiate experience of the elite classical performer singing for presidents and world leaders, but also the dingy road of the rock musician who's showed one night to a packed stadium full of fans and showed up another, thousands of miles from home to play to a coffee shop of 5 people. Music has brought me to nearly every continent and introduced me to some of the most talented and diverse people you can imagine. I feel compelled to share these experiences with those around me so that they my develop the vision, the salt and the skills to persevere.
I am, above all, an artist & creator- living the dream, helping people- like you find their voice and write their songs. Turning raw emotion into art.
Each one of us has a story, our truth. Being an artist is about finding ourselves, our song and expressing it publicly so that we may heal, so that we may grow.
It doesn't take a ton of experience to write a hit song. It doesn't take a fancy education or a family line of talent (though it can help). We can all find our voice, our place in the spotlight, what it takes is the courage to take the next step forward.
You've already had the genius to be in the right place at the right time. Here. If you've made it this far, chances are you are smart enough, hungry enough and ready to take the plunge.
Inside my studio you will find the help you seek. I can impart you with proven techniques to strengthen your sound, develop your tone through strong technique, develop strategies to share your art and develop a plan to turn pipe dreams into reality. Some desire to sing on the worlds brightest stages, others strive to lead others through teaching themselves, and some wish for nothing more than to experience music in a confident manner among friends. All can be lead on this personal journey of the artistic soul and all can make their offering to the musical gods. There is a place at the table for anyone seeking an answer.

I took a wild chance finding Francesca online, not knowing anyone who'd worked with her and not knowing whether lessons online would feel right. but I was more than amazed. Francesca is so articulate, enthusiastic, encouraging, intelligent, tuned in, and just plain musical - the lesson time flew by so fast and I hardly noticed that we weren't in the same room (in fact we were 3,000 miles apart!). She's not a musician who happens to teach, she's a truly gifted and accomplished teacher. I'm very excited about all I can learn from her!

Hello Students / Parents!
I specialize in providing a fun, inspiring and safe space for each student to reach their goals â whether that be for the novice singer whose been wrongfully told they âshouldn't sing,â the more experienced singer looking to branch out into doing more with their music or doing it professionally, or the budding songwriter, actor or speaker looking to develop the talent and drive they feel within them.
I always remember the encouragement, patience and inspiration I received from my best teachers, and strive to provide exactly that to my own students. I sing
and teach most vocal styles, with the exception of opera, and utilize our studio to create a supportive, empowering experience singing, writing and recording. I absolutely love to teach both children and adults and look forward to learning how to best support each one of my students in their individual path toward realizing their potential.
Here's a bit about my background and musical experience:
⢠Bachelors of Fine Arts degree (Theatre/Voice) from United States International University â Graduated Valedictorian ⢠Chula Vista School of Creative and Performing Arts â Graduated Valedictorian Workshops and studying with Bill Doyle, Roy Mote, Andrew Barnicle, Jack Tygett, Leanne Summers, among others.
"After seeing Danielle, I was impressed with her intensity as a performer. Her ability to get behind a lyric was stunning, she lives every line. As an artistic performer, I've yet to see better." -Tony Ferguson / Interscope Records: No Doubt, Bush, Fisher
My original band, Danielle and The Masses, has been recording and performing live since 2001. We are endorsed by Ani Difranco, The Black Eyed Peas, The Bruce Hornsby Band, and have shared the stage with artists as Jamie Foxx, CAKE, Metric, En Vogue, David Byrne, Berlin, Margaret Cho, Cyndi Lauper, Jonatha Brooke, Beth Hart, Semi Precious Weapons and more.
I have written and performed music and voice over for Ace Ventura, Nutty Professor, VH1, various TV shows and independent documentaries, Eveoke Dance Theatre, among others, as well as having recorded eight professional CDs of various styles on various record labels.
For over ten years, my record / production company, Say It Records has been producing socially conscious music events throughout San Diego and Southern California that promote independent music, film, art, community and human rights. I also co-own Durga Sound, a teaching and production studio, with producer Alicia Champion, as well as San Diego IndieFest, a powerful community event which promotes and supports music, film, art and civic engagement.
I have a great time utilizing my contacts in the industry to help my students get work/ press / entrance into the schools of their choice, etc. For example, I'm happy to report that just last year we were able to book eight musicians on GLEE, as well as lots more in other capacities including using their music in commercials and film and helping them get cast in local theatre and accepted into arts-centered schools.
*** Lesson Details *** I start on the first lesson by becoming clear about what the new student's goals and desires are â from there, we start developing technique to achieve those goals along with having fun right away doing what they came for - singing, writing, voice over, acting or using a combination of these things be it for professional purposes or personal fulfillment. Every lesson is personally customized to meet the specific goals of each student. As a teacher, I'm encouraging and fun, passionate and positive. While I'm definitely not "strict", I do appreciate focus and drive. However, I often work with people who have special needs and are working on developing those very things. I'm especially good at helping people through progress plateaus, roadblocks, stage fright, loss/ stress. Using music as a means of release and healing - for both kids and adults - is something I do a lot of and am very comfortable with.
As far as technique is concerned, I focus on utilizing posture, correct breathing and developing relaxed, strong support, so that the muscles are developed properly and without stress, enabling the student's voice to constantly grow while also steering clear of the injury that can accompany the straining that often happens when singing without proper technique.
I strongly encourage students to record their lessons on a mobile device so they can practice easily on their own, and so they eventually have a record of how far they've grown. We mostly use tracks to develop repertoire, prepare for auditioning and performances, and to have fun singing the music that excites each student the most.

*** Specialties *** Using music, writing and voice as a means of expressing yourself, growing as a performance artist, coping in challenging times, as well as a means of going professional and earning income are all areas I specialize in. Utilizing proper technique and learning how to sing / speak safely is also an area I focus on a great deal.
Learning precisely what each student wants is the key factor in my decision on how to achieve their goals. For example, using Speech Level Singing is definitely entrenched in my teaching, but I may not highlight it as much for those who want a more classical sound.
I definitely excel with the following: first timers, very young kids, students working through stage fright, artists looking to develop their own original project, those seeking growth in their process of writing / recording / performing, those who are interested in using music and / or writing as therapy as well as with amateurs who've always wanted to do something musical but who think they are "too old" or too "untalented/short/tall/ fill in the blank" to try. I believe we all have something to say with our lives - finding the voice within you can be an incredibly powerful and transformative experience!

Danielle is one of the most kind-hearted, positive women I know. I have been taking lessons with her for about 4 months now and she has really taught me a lot about myself and getting over my insecurities about my voice tone and singing in front of others. Her knowledge of the music industry has also really helped put the process all in perspective for me. Being somewhat of a closet singer, I look forward to her guidance each week to help bring this talent and passion for singing out of me!
Learn to sing solos, duets and group numbers. Get into the character who sings the song. Enjoy to fun of Fiddler, the romance of Man of La Mancha, the beautiful songs of The Sound of Music and the excitement of Westside Story. Character parts and group numbers as well. I directed every part of stage production as Department Chair of Performing Arts at Mercy High School in Red Bluff CA. In addition I can teach you how to write musical scores, original scripts and songs for student productions. Our production of West Side Story sold out every performance and received 5 star reviews. I have the sung Musical Theater numbers in San Francisco Bay area, San Diego, Maui, and Florida venues for nearly years.
I am willing to travel to you all over San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Music should be fun and lessons should focus on what you want to do with your improved abilities. Some students want to sing better in school choir or musical programs. Some are trying to sing or play guitar for Church or Synagogue. Others have their eye on Disney careers, rock/pop bands, in short being professionals. What is your dream? I will help you move closer to reaching that dream!!! I am a graduate of USD with a B.A. in Philosophy. I also hold a Masters degree, Teaching Credential Curriculum fr
om Chapman University, Doctoral Studies at Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. I studied voice, guitar and piano classes beginning in grade school, high school, college and post-graduate training as well. I studied voice in San Diego with Robert Austin, in San Francisco with Richard Nichol in the Garcia-Marchesi Institute. I sang with the Palm Beach Florida Opera Company. I am a tenor with a 3.5 octave range. I also sang and performed in Musicals and Operas and Sacred Oratorios from Maui to Florida. I teach voice (beginner to professional levels) and guitar (acoustic and electric: beginners to Intermediate). I have been teaching private lessons for 7 years. I also offer voice or guitar classes at St. Cecelia's School of Music in the San Fernando Valley and St Catherine of Siena Parish School in Reseda. I have students in the San Diego area as well as South Los Angeles County, and in the San Fernando Valley I am the proud "dad" of two high school aged children who are excellent students! I focus my instruction on "correct" breathing and proper singing to protect your voice from injury and produce a beautiful tone and wonderful performance. I teach guitar chords, reading standard musical notation as well as tablature.

My daughter has taken lessons with at least 5 other voice teachers over the past 4 years, and Daniel is by far the best fit. He is encouraging and knowledgeable. The difference between a song we think she has down, and the song after she works on it with Daniel is just amazing. She wants to sing and play bass professionally, so we tap into Daniel's expertise about the music industry and bring songs for auditions, solos, performances, etc. to him with no advance warning and he teaches her how to approach them. He consciously expands her range on the low side as well as high side. Most importantly, he is very professional, kind and supportive about life, not just in music. And, of course, there is his amazing voice that can shake our house if we ask him to sing something!
Broadway Singing lessons will teach you the techniques to get you from singing in the shower, to singing on the stage! Learn the best methods to keep your voice healthy and in good shape, memorize lyrics and convey them with sincerity (despite your nerves!), develop a character and "become" that character while you sing and more!
---------- Now teaching in Orange County AND San Diego! ---------
Hello! Thanks for visiting my profile. Allow me to tell you a bit about myself: I have been performing as a musician for about 20 years and acting since I was a small boy. I started my musical education as a woodwind player and settled in to the wonderful world of singing over time. Music has opened me up to so many opportunities from touring the world to performing in marvelous concert halls and working with some of today's most revered artists, as well as giving me the opportunity to expand my performance through act
ing in various plays, musicals, television, and film.
Performing has been my salvation. It has been a best friend and constant source of joy, and I share this gift with others so that it might offer them the same. After 10 years of teaching, I have new experiences to draw from and share with my students. I've spent my last 6 years performing with Disney in Anaheim and this past year touring Japan in their Tokyo Disney cast, and I must say that my experiences have given "performance" a new depth. I'm excited to dive back into lessons with fresh ideas that will mesh well with my tried and tested teaching techniques.
Originally from Los Angeles, I now reside in Orange County and I'm especially proud to be expanding my studio to San Diego as well! I am so excited to share my experiences with the people of this beautiful and inspiring town. If you're interested in learning more about my lesson style, feel free to contact me and I'd be happy to talk with you about a plan to help you reach your goals!
My Teaching Style
Over the past several years I have focused much of my personal growth on developing my ears' ability to pick out and pinpoint vocal “placement”, resonance, subtleties of timbre, changes in pitch, breath support, air speed and flow, pronunciation and diction, and in general, the way in which all of these work together to create style. From these assessments, I work with the student’s particular needs to address each area individually and based on the learning style of each person. To illustrate to the student their method as I see and hear it, as well as ways in which they might make changes to facilitate the ease of singing --be they changes of tessitura (range), length of phrase, tone color, the release of unnecessary tension etc.-- I make use of vocalise (vocal exercises), simile and metaphor, examples from recorded performances, demonstration, self assessment, and techniques to “trick” the voice into acting in a different way, in addition to videos, diagrams, and texts on anatomy and physiology. I feel that all of these tools provide a unique and personalized learning experience for each student.

Eulis's advise was very helpful! I do not have any experiences with spoken word. I have learned to wisely incorporate inflection and pauses in my voice! I am looking forward to delivering my first spoken word presentation!
I am a dentist and my wonderful assistant was having trouble communicating with patients. Her voice was flat and monotone and she would freeze up when asked a question. Outside of work her voice and personality was completely different, and I wanted to see it come out when she worked with our patients. She did 5 online lessons with Eulis using Skype. I noticed a difference immediately, she was more confident and her personality began to show in her voice. I am very happy with the results and my assistant has stated that this has helped her in both her personal and professional life. She is no longer freezing up when asked a difficult question and is speaking in a more direct and purposeful way. Thank you Eulis!

He is also friendly, smiling, and courteous! He'll start you with warm-ups and then end with songs/pieces to practically implement the movements you've learned during warm-ups. Try a lesson with Frank! You'll not regret it!"

"I have Molly R. to thank for getting me out of my fear of singing. At first, I was so nervous that I couldn't even sing along to the radio with my friends
! I met her through a class with Boldly Me, and then ended up taking lessons with her to prepare for my first big audition with StarStruck (I know right? I love performing but I get shy about singing). Though I didn't get in, she had given me that boost of confidence and the arsenal of skills/tricks that I needed to keep trying. I worked with her again to audition for Stage1's "Seussical"- and got in as the "lead Wickersham"!! Molly has helped me with so much; she teaches you beyond what you could expect of yourself and guides you to your fullest potential.. all while keeping it fun and comfortable!! "I've been casually studying with Tina for the past two years. My former vocal teacher passed away and I was stranded without a trusted vocal teacher. Ti
na really understands how to utilize the voice without damaging it, or forcing it do what it was not designed to do. She is straight forward with her critiques and gives amazing feedback to better your overall performance. She has built up my technique and opened my mind to a wider range of styles and song choices. Before I met Tina, I would only sing legit musical theater but I've been able to branch out to belting and jazz standards. She even had me start learning the role of Evita! I highly recommend Tina to anyone (beginners to advanced students) who wants to develop their musical theater singing."
